Agree with what you’re saying mate. I feel like it’s the perfect song to listen to while just looking out the window driving reflecting on life, but in terms of just listening to his songs in general I might skip this one at times on the playlist. The substance and lyrics were good as they always are though.

I always end up skipping to try to find this song when I'm driving, I think it's nice to listen to it right after listening to one of the "harder" songs on the album. It's also a great way to relax and cool down after getting pumped up from the rest of the album, I often use it after working out for my cooldown stretches.

Personally I think he's talking about himself. Many songs on this album he's talking about his "other self" such as in Leave Me Alone, and I think a lot of this is him trying to find himself and lose all his negative feelings

Andreas' singing was phenomenal, and that's what I hear when nf is going in on the flow. If he sang that hook like that, then I would be able to agree with this statement. Until then, I can't agree that the skill sets are equal.

I know he loves NF and some people aint gonna like EVERY SONG and I really don't mind that. It just seemed like he just wasn't into it today because it didn't have enough "energy" for him.

NF has been talking a lot about his battle w/ doubt and finding freedom....it feels (to me) like this song is a ballad about his battle w/self doubt. Doubt in relationships, life, music, depression. The doubt has left behind trauma, making a lot of us feel like we’re drowning, arms weary from holding on through the battle to mental freedom. The piano and cello swells tells a story too, I feel like the music represents the hope of freedom NF gets through his music, while the words tell of the struggle to find peace. It’s a beautiful song, each time I listen to it I get a deeper understanding, on personal level. This is a masterful album, well thought out, yes, it has a darker feel to some songs, but that’s because he battled and won a bad battle of depression. Other’s listening in similar situations can take heart. Knowing that they too can beat it and grow...having hope for a better brighter tomorrow!

To me, a song doesn't need hard bars and hard beats to be good. You gotta see the song for what it is trying to be. Like, try to put this on, on the bus, look out the window and soothe in his voice.

This is one of his best tracks. I appreciated how stripped and soulful this was. This showed the vulnerable, rock bottom side of depression - when you've already bypassed anger and are so defeated that you just wanna know why you're stuck here.
