When the song started I was fr CRYING!!! THIS IS DEEP!! 😭😭😭😭😭

You're the first one to say what I think as well this is NF singing to Hope. Hope starts out "Hope I'm on my way I'm coming Hope don't lose faith in me I know you've been waiting " Which I believe that part is actually Hope singing back to Nate in response to this track Trauma. He is so brilliantly beautiful in his mind and so complex but you're the only one that I've heard think the same thought that I've had. About a year ago NF discovered me (that's the way I believe it happens...you don't discover him he discovers you) and in that time I have listened to nothing but him everyday and I think that I have put so many of his tracks together and broken so many of the codes that it astounds me how he is so young and so intelligent the way he has connected so much. Everything that he does is so intentional in visual and word. Like Motto I wonder has anyone caught on to "I went from my bedroom to the big leagues" which goes all the way back to Mansion "This room is full of regret it just keeps getting fuller it seems but it's hard to look past when this is the room where I sleep" Or that the award has the word Happy on it yes he has a song on the next album called Happy but can this also go back to Therapy session "Why don't you write us some happy raps that would be awesome all of your music is moody and dark Nate." And the song Mama is going to be track 4 the same as How could you leave us. And the car he was driving was in Story and in When I grow along with the kid at the end and the Janitor being seen backstage and NF played a janitor in that video. There was several other connections that I made as well but hoping that you read this and maybe others will as well and they may point out some that I didn't catch. But great reaction love you and the channel 👍❤

This song is stunning,nfs vocals are sooo underrated

I’ve always said that Nate is talking to himself, but thinking about it, you’re right also (talking to Hope). In the Search, he said he was looking for the Map to Hope. However, God has told Nate that he’s NOT trapped; Nate is the one “holding the keys.” Therefore, he is looking for Hope, but he is the only one that can give him Hope. 🤯 🤪😇

The casual listener doesn't realize his catalog is truly a tragic story turning into a redemption story. Hearing Hope makes you appreciate Trauma, Paralyzed, Hate Myself, etc. that much more. Appreciate you taking the time to connect and understand his story through his music.

This song is so raw and just gorgeous! I think we have all had SOME kind of trauma that has caused us to just collapse. Trauma must be dealt with head on! It's the only way to resolve anything. Trauma is nothing comfortable to address, but it must be dealt with or you stay stuck in all the pain✌️😥

If this song doesn't move you, you've gone numb. Ironically, going numb is or can be a response to trauma. Anyway, it's one of the most beautifully gut wrenching pieces of music I've ever heard. Feels like it grabs hold of you and won't let go. Love your reaction. New sub ❤

I appreciate how much you feel the music and your understanding of the special depth NF has brought to the table. He has a way with relating to anyone and everyone on multiple levels; assuming they take the time to journey through his discography. "Freedom" (the 7 letters he's been looking for; and "Hope" (because if it's real, he hasn't been introduced to it yet). This one hit hard when this is all we had before "Clouds: The Mixtape" and "Hope."

Finding himself and being able to find peace joy, hope happiness. Finally to find himself and love himself and quit tormenting himself.

NF is by far the best artist out today he can do it all and 99% of it is meaningful rather than just rhyming for the sake of it.

@@OUTCAST4LIFE That's awesome! I'm glad you found some hope... hang in there. A group of us went together and got ; tattoos in the summer of 2016... I was 50!! Mine is on my left hand near the base of my thumb, the only tattoo I have, so far. I'm thinking about getting Hope on my right forearm along with a pink ribbon and maybe a date incorporated in the design somehow. Be blessed!

Congrats sir on finishing the journey thus far. That is huge.

Imo it reminds us of our own traumas and describes it in a way we can’t.

Though I’ve heard almost all of NF’s tracks there’s still about a dozen I haven’t, I know this one is important but I hadn’t listened yet, so I just heard it for the first time with you, yup I cried too 😢

This is one of my favorite tracks. Been days were it's on repeat. Great reaction as always. "Lost in the Moment" is a good one next. Older song that's really good.

The journey isn’t over, clouds, lost, hope, motto, is part of the journey it continues the list seemed like it ended at the end of search but that is what was current at the time, the story Nate is telling is still going it’s far from over

He’s almost got to be talking to either God or Hope. I lean towards God, because he mentions how highly he holds Him. Also he’s asking for love back. Open for interpretation though! Love NF’s music

“Finale” is a very confusing word in this instance, because it’s not like the story is over by any stretch of the imagination.

Uh...i cried when i first heard it. I dont understand for the life of me how anyone can say that NFs music sounds the same. Im not saying one is better than the other in totallity but could eminem come close to making a ballad even half as good as this?

He's Christian brah, he's talking to God. It's hard in this modern world. Somedays you think you are following his path and somedays all you wish is to hear him, to have more than a feeling. He takes those we love but he hasn't found us, we still here. It's hard. He shows us love but some times we don't see it.
