Hello, I'm hunting and trapping the western part of the Manistee national Forest for 2 weeks here in Michigan. The terrain looks very similar to your location in Arkansas but flatter with more oaks. I caught my very first bobcat the first check day in a dirt hole using topdog. However it's not bobcat season yet so I had to release it. Having problems with theft and deer stepping in my sets, so I've been moving them off the forest service roads further. No coyotes yet, but still have another week. Thanks for your shows. I'm learning a lot.

What’s the cheapest way to stake the traps down
@HoosierTrapperSupply
3 жыл бұрын
The most reasonable disposable stake is the Standard Berkshire stake. Rebar stakes cost more initially, however they hold up well over time.

Not really related to this show but I am curious to know what you guys think of that info that FHA put out the other day regarding the fur market? Dare I say we could see big rise in price after the travel ban is lifted in Canada. Might even be a small boom? What’s your thoughts or maybe even a trap house podcast on this topic? Thanks again for the great shows and info! Tight chains guys! 👍

I guess I have very guarded optimism. We are doing a podcast concerning the fur market in the near future. Thank-you!

You may not appreciate what we are doing. However, no endangered animals were killed. All trapping is regulated by the state; seasons, species, numbers, etc. There are biologists that are in charge of what the states do in regard to trapping and regulations. Everything we do is completely sustainable
