Raccoon trapping around creeks and cornfields with dog proof traps. Using dog food for bait to decrease my chances with a skunk. The less smelly the bait is, you're less likely to have a skunk encounter!

Are you using earth anchors?
Great video I like your bait idea. Try a fish oil sprayed around your traps. It really draws them into your sets.
