Hi Mr. Maniac, I am just starting to trap again after 40 years. I do love your channel and am now a subscriber. My question is this; if you get horrendous rain do you re-work EVERY one of your sets? Or do you use wax dirt? Calcium Chloride to freezing point depress? I am getting frustrated with all my sets getting caked up with mud. Thank you for all you do for the trapping community!-Paul

Hi Paul!! I haven't trapped any land critters in a few years. When there was rain I left them.as is and added lure. I always pulled them around first week of November to avoid freezing

I'm just getting back into trapping and found your channel very helpful. Excellent content bud. Turns out your not too far from where I'm at. Maybe see ya at poles in holes this year and see who reels in the most slabs!

Take that bottom bar off your H stand. Weld a short piece of that same bar at the point where you removed it at an upward angle to the still existing bar an inch or two in.

Instagram is a pile of bull crap. they blocked my entire page for a few days for what reason I am very unsure, I took it down…Regardless, appreciate the explanation on your sets, I am not a trapper but watch and follow along for your fishing content! Keep it up 👌🏻

They apparently have some nuisance beaver in Instagram. You should find his lodge and trap him.

Appreciate the attention to locating the runs and trap placement. Gotta get right in there....sometimes some cold clear air in the lungs can ease a headache. Sometimes not...

Greeting from Ontario Canada eh! Love your vids, including your den sets. H-stands are so useful and your vids introduced me to different scenarios where there can be used and how to set them properly. I've welded several of my own with light weight rebar including variable height adjustable T-bars so I can set the exact height I need and even set two 330s on one stand.... Yes I've caught beaver on the upper 330 so it's proved itself useful. Anyhoo, great job as always dude! I challenge you to update your vid intro and ending with more modern content and definitely new music... I'll send ya 10 bucks (USD) if you accept this challenge/complete this challenge in Jan 2023 :) it will save me from FF 40+ secs at the beginning and cutting your ending short. Take Care!
