You'd need to adapt out Han at least, but he and Chewie were pretty much irrelevant to events so that is not a big obstacle to my eyes. It'd be a neat little side story to mostly stand on it's own, the current owners would at best make a disaster using the name, so I'm pretty fine with them leaving it alone. But a solid adaptation would be doable and great to have.

An actual stormtrooper with decent aim? Impressive.

⁠@@Ceccener their aim is actually amazing even old obi wan an ex general in the clone wars commented on their aim, plus the meme comes from them missing so many shots on luke /leia/han/chewy but it was because they were ordered to corner them and the meme was born.

ive been curious about it but never bit the bullet.

Best thing is this was the black wing virus created on a sith world. The virus is a hive mind that has access to its hosts memories and is able to use and do everything they could. The planet it started on was lost due to an entire academy of force using sith being turned. Then the emperor brings it all back.

The Book is something i would not expect anything that Star Wars would make now. The thing is that the "Zombies" Would learn how to use weapons and ships. Destroying the door for the airlock between the prison ship and the Star destroyer by shooting it. As well as using Tie-Fighters to try and get to other planets to spread (miserably failing). It was also not the first time of it showing up in star wars. They made a second book (a prequel) starting in the old republic.

What’s the name of the books

This concept is actually a Legends book called Death Troopers. It centered around a Stormtrooper team stuck on a prison ship with (young) Han and Chewie

Felt like a classic Markiplier horror game

Imagine a multiplayer four man death troop squad sent to retake the ship flamethrower/lmg/smg/assult- laser shotgun from battlerfront

If this game got a full story, multiplayer and some fresher animations this game would slap

Game events take place after the book Death Troopers. A great book and better Audiobook

But the black wing virus was not an ordinary virus, it was a result of sith alchemy gone wrong. So it’s technically a force virus. Not saying Vader would succumb or go down without a fight though.

​@@yourstrulli9089 It is a fact. Vader would never allow Blackwing to take hold of himself. He would fight but if he were to be infected I believe he would kill himself without a second thought. Still, I don't think the zombies could catch him off-guard.

The menu being the cover of the book was a great detail

From what I remember from the lore... The Blackwing virus was a project of his. Darth Vader would remove any potential witnesses even if he wasn't infected.

I dont think that darth vader was zombie. I think he created the zombies, which whould explain why the zombies stopped. Btw great video.

I love all the different zombie types in Legends and canon I wish they would start using the Starweird more tho after that comic making them canon I can only hope that they make it off the comic pages and into a video game or show I like how in the comic they are described as planet eaters and seem to have physical form instead of being a ghost like in legends but are still hard to kill and are relentless even when injured I think this makes them much more interesting than the legends ones it’s also nice to see more blood in a Star Wars game I don’t think Disney would ever use this much blood I like it! lol Also I would like to mention how pretty those purple blaster bolts are. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a purple blaster bolt in Star Wars but it looks awesome!

1:03 the star destroyer also looks a bit cluttered like ok 1 maybe 2 tie wrecked is fine but that’s way to many peppering the hull it looks over done remove all but 2 and you are good like have the one that missed the landing bay and the one that looks like it was shot down and skid across the hull but that is all

DeathTroopers - A Star Wars Horror Story

It's visually pretty cool. But bottom line the entire "game" is just relaxed shooting a few zombies with no risk of death for 5 minutes. That's the game. And it doesn't even do that well tbh, you spend half the time blatantly shooting right through them because there is basically no hit registration. You have to be almost point blank to hit them. It's a cool but very very very very very unfinished idea.

Am I the only one who thinks this looks bad? Like zombies needs more then just the concept to be fun.

Don't bother trying to play it, it's clunky at best when not completely bugged. There's a lot of works before making it an actually fun mini game.

Given it's in the Alpha stage currently, no shit it has bugs and is wonky. It's a small Indie Dev, so they're doing their best.
