Has a bit of a Dexter vibe, but the trailer makes it look like he's just a bad guy. They could be trying to throw us off though. We'll see. Either way I'm intrigued.

Somehow I feel like this is trying to focus on the Dad as the evil villain. Maybe Mnight's ultimate twist would be that the Dad is actually staging a police training program and the trailer is just the red herring to make it look as if he is the culprit. Unless there is a different twist I'm not seeing to predict 🤔

Well I'm sure it won't be as simple as the trailer is making it out to be.
Shyamalan didn't do "The Mist." That was Frank Darabont, who did season 1 of "The Walking Dead." You're probably thinking of "The Happening," which started out with a lot of promise but had a weak ending.

Yea ur totally right.... Something in my brain said the Mist was M Night Shyamalan.... But The Happening was definitely not my favorite movie either lol
