So I notice that the doubles shooters use high rib guns but the single shooters don't. Any reason why?

Poor refereeing, specially in the final, it's a sport of concentration.

I'm just learning trap and there is no house in front of them. Are there multiple machines under that green area that a bird can come from any number of them, or am I just not able to see it in the video. The one's I've seen it's always right behind a house that you can see. Sorry for a new guy question.

This form of shooting is usually called “trench”, they have multiple traps underground. Practically one for each shooter.

Yeah I really didn't like that the one complained. Yeah it may be warranted but deal with it. Cuz of it it threw off the timing of Mike

I guess I could Google it, but does anybody know what gauge do these guys shoot? They have their preference correct? Or did they get a choice? Or what is the most commond? Just curious, thanks.

I beleive most common is 12 gauge. At least that's what most guys use at my local shooting range.

I don't get it. After making 12 shots in the gold medal match, the guy from India had 10, while the Aussie guy had 6. The final three shots will not make any difference, because even if the Aussie guy made all the last 3 shots, he will still get 9 points. What is the purpose of moving on?

I believe they're required to take a certain amount of shots to keep track of their averages.

Raaman Nair I shoot competition as well; basically what happened was the score was determined by who missed the first and how many miss's.

125 targets,75 in first day, + 50 targets second day for first qualification with two shots for each single target.....first 6 top shooters will shoot another15 targets for qualify (now one shot only)....thirth and four qualified will compete for bronze, then first and second qualified for silver and gold,(also one shot in both cases). This tournament was in 2014,qualification rule has changed since them. Now 125 targets for qualification....6 top encares 50 targets, after each 10th target the last shooter in that moment is eliminated, and so on,till the first and second shooters encares 10 targets remaining to complete 50 targets final for gold/silver.

No once it's your turn to shoot you load one shell and shoot. Then you leave your action open and safety on till it's your turn to shoot again.
