So I've noticed that the energon universe seems to only use one character per mould. So instead of getting both Bumblebee and cliff, we just got cliff, same with the seekers with all being taken out the picture apart from thundercracker, frenzy being killed for rumble, Ratchet probably for Ironhide. So if your favourite character is a recolour of someone like Inferno and Grapple shows, you know one of them won't be there for long.

It makes me feel kind of gross to read. Optimus running away from his pinned troops. Im not sure if dwj meant for this, but the other people I've talked to have agreed, that this feels out of character for optimus. So I'm hoping we get to see him charge back into battle ane redeem himself. Side note. I'm not really an elita fan at least how she was in the siege cartoon (she didn't do enough in g1 to really be a character). I found her commanding optimus around, mostly hard to watch.

@@coughsyrup5039 I mena, what's Optimus supposed to do? Stay there and die? Shockwave already beat the crap out of him, he's cut off from his men, outnumbered, outgunned, and trying to go for them will just end up with a dead Optimus. It was a hard decision to make, but Elita made the right call; they don't help anyone by dying there. They can always come back and, hopefully, rescue Cliff and Jazz, but staying there would help no one.

Things I never expected to see in my life: Optimus Prime being on the receiving end from a Tombstone from Shockwave. Leaving Cliffjumper, Jazz, and Jetfire is one of those "horrible prices you pay for being a leader" scenarios. It was an injured Optimus, and a very compromised Elita-One (carrying Ultra Magnus) against roughly six Constructicons, Shockwave, Soundwave, and Thundercracker. That is essentially a no-win situation. I think it's going to be interesting in later issues to see an Elita-One, Optimus dichotomy. Yes, Elita-One has carried a horribly mangled Ultra Magnus for what seems like three issues, but when Jazz and Cliffjumper still appeared very much functional in Optimus' (and even Elita's) eyes, Elita-One said they were gone, and to keep moving. As much as Elita obviously cares for Ultra Magnus, I'm guessing she will have a far more militaristic approach to leadership than Optimus, to the point where I'm guessing she might see some wiggle room when it comes to determining how much the Autobots should sacrifice/put themselves at risk to protect humans as opposed to trying to neutralize the Decepticons. One thing I am curious about is how Optimus and Elita are going to get home, given that it looks like they were in the center of the ocean. Another thing that seemed not to make sense is that with Prime and Elita-One limping away, Shockwave could have easily dispatched roughly everyone else to quickly dispose of the two. But by doing that, the story is pretty much done. I'm hoping for a Spike/Beachcomber team-up. Both seem to be kindred spirits in this series. Both love the outdoors. And while Carly is out for blood, Spike just wants to be outside, look at a sunset, and try to comprehend all of the stuff that has happened to him (losing a father on top of losing his brother, facing possible paralysis). Beachcomber could have easily made his presence known with the Autobots, so I'm guessing he's not too keen on rejoining any fight anytime soon. Side note: Spike with Long Hair is a hilariously awesome new nickname for the human. Solid issue, albeit with some pretty big plot holes. And damnit, R.I.P., Ratchet.

Some really good points here. I think you break down why the scenario made Optimus' retreat nicely. As for how they're going to get home, that crossed my mind as well, as we just see them driving towards the wall of the Pacific Ocean. 😂 Maybe we'll see the introduction of the hydrofoils from the G1 cartoon, or maybe Prime can still use Megatron's cannon for propulsion underwater? Or maybe they'll just cut back to the Ark like nothing happened. 🤣 Good call on Spike and Beachcomber being kindred spirits - I hadn't thought of that, but there certainly seems to be some parallels there!

This issue is great because it shows the differences of Elita and Optimus. Optimus still thought he could save cliff and jazz whereas Elita just wanted to retreat and cut the losses for what it was and not risk more deaths. If I'm being honest I 100% agree with Elita. The decepticons didn't even seem dented from the fight where the autobots were heavily. Great video as always!

It was probably an easier decision for Elita, because she (probably) doesn’t know Cliffjumper and Jazz that well, at least to the level that Optimus does. So it’s probably easier for her to “cut the losses” than it is for Optimus. Cliff and Jazz being part of Optimus’s ark crew and now spending some time on earth together probably made it really hard for Optimus to just leave his teammates (possibly friends?) behind to the enemy.

Ratchet's death got me. And as you said Optimus makes mistakes but he is able to rise above it, learn and grow all the while showing compassion and strength that makes him one of the best renditions of Optimus Prime so far in my opinion. Shockwave showing up does raise the stakes a lot and Beachcomber's appearance exited me (It soothed the sting of loosing rachet a little)

6:14 I prefer IDW's explanation for mass shifting better. Discharging your mass directly to energy was some crazy overpowered shit and it gave some sensibility as to why characters would allow themselves to be put into such vulnerable positions. Megatron lets himself be wielded by synthetic humans and his soldiers because that risk enables him to oneshot characters that could physically contend with him.

I believe Soundwave specifically chose Spike as a gift to Shockwave. Due to his involvement in Shooting Ravage, when he and Carly gave Optimus his gun in issue one. We've seen how pragmatic Soundwave can be, but we also saw his cruelty/petty actions before. Hiding his anger under a vail of logic and reason. Shown with the bodies of Starscream and Skywarp.

Dang, good call! I never would have connected that, but I could see it. Soundwave definitely holds grudges against people who go after his cassettes!

The Combaticons were awesome to see. I think this confirms they were the ones who killed Elita's team in issue #7. I hope we get to see Bruticus at least once, and that they take inspiration from Combiner Wars and make Blast Off a jet. They already have Astrotrain for s shuttle.

Definitely seems like confirmation. We could already make out Brawl, so it seems likely the Combaticons were responsible for Kup, Huffer, and Warpath. Also, great point about two shuttles...I wonder if that could be a reason why Johnson would kill one of them off. 😂 Or maybe he'd keep both. Flight-capable characters seem pretty useful.

I always felt like I was the only person who was okay with Combiner Wars Blast Off being a harrier as he was a redeco of Slingshot. I was like, "honestly, this makes a lot more sense for COMBATicons" 😅

If Magnus, Optimus and Elita all get patched up quickly that should even things out

I felt that Optimus leaving Jazz and Cliff behind could have been justified more to the audience. Maybe we see Shockwave already on top of them and then Optimus makes the call. That would have worked better for me because the way it was presented made me feel like they could have realistically grabbed them and left.

Yeah, they do seem pretty close when Cliff is reaching for OP as he drove off. My read on it is that Prime was already wounded and they'd have to face a gauntlet of Decepticons to get to Cliff and Jazz, then Elita forced the decision. But yeah, I wonder if they could have communicated the stakes a bit better.

Three characters I'm scared of how they’ll be like are the Insecticons. They always had veracious appetites and given what we’ve seen from this comic so far I'm scared to see them during “feeding time”.

@@Moonbase3 I’m also pretty sure Brawl isn’t dead. In IDW 1.0 Megatron was blown in half and I think lost an arm but he was still alive and able to say stuff. I don’t think the Deceptions will put down Brawl since as a combiner component he is more useful then most other cons and I imagine it would be a hassle to find a replacement for him so I think he’ll just be there until they repair the Spacebridge and reattach his legs. As for Onslaught even without the rest of the Combaticons his original bio says he is an effective Strategist and tactician and Daniel Warren Johnson and the rest of the team could be going for that part of his character.

The combaticons are my second favorite sub group and Bruticus is my favorite combiner. So seeing them always makes me happy. I hope we get to see them combine before getting killed off. I was sad when Brawl was immediately killed off in Earthspark. I’ve accepted no one is safe in this comic series. I’m calling it right now they will team with Starscream in the future. My only evidence being a drawing of Starscream and Bruticus is what convinced hasbro to give Skybound the transformers license. Am I crazy, yes.

@@seanmccarthy8755 Maybe he might get fixed by shockwave, and turned to the bad side through experiments. Cliffjumper and JAzz may be turned into baddies too? Later the Autobots turn Jetfire back good, that is how he gets physically fixed, and gets back his robot mode? In the orginal G1 cartoon he "Jetfire" was a conflicted badguy. Maybe what I just wrote could be a spin on G1 things. It would also allow a Decepticon or 3 to go to the autobots story wise for good measure.

Yeah initially I wasn’t sure how to react to Optimus leaving without getting confirmed deaths, but I think the moment works because Elita is the one pushing him along. I did think it was a bit interesting that Elita was so sure the crew were done for when she’s literally hauling what’s basically an autobot skeleton begging to die. I’m interested to see more of her motivations. The retreat in general makes sense though and I’m sure will be a big moment for Optimus, especially when he realizes his comrades are still alive and being tortured.

Definitely. I really feel like they're building up to something with both Elita and Optimus here, and it's all going to spring from that moment.

This issues really tells me the ALL HELL IS BREAKING LOOSE in the Energon Universe. Earth bound Deceptions being in contact with Cybertron was treated as nothing special but like in the Marvel comic this is a big deal, where issues the cons made a phoned home in 10 when only to get a replied 8 issues latter. Here, U.S. government(G.I. Joe) is going to be more prevalent in after Soundwave and Shockwave's stunt. Spike being hunted here reminds me aging of the Marvel comics, both having Shockwave in a leading. As for Shockwave's characterization, he was been always a wild card, Sunbow cartoon had him a another Soundwave, Marvel had him cold, calculated upstart on Megatron's level, Dreamwave made him into a scientist with evolutionist bent, then IDW had a lobotomized clockwork over powered nightmare on legs and the IDW 2nd take on Shockwave was a-morel scientist/terrorist with some slight bighead wannabe tendency. So Skybound giving Shockwave a manic edge is fine in my eye. Your mention the Deception's might makes right mindset Astrotrain having some pity for Spike is interesting, Thundercracker's mercy fit with his character but Megatron combined with the 2 former's mercy paints an interesting new picture of the Deceptions. Sort of like how they were seen in More Then Meets The Eye issue 12, the Deceptions are barbarians so if means servile then it justifiable. Really enjoying how Skybound is having the react more natural to the Cybertronians effect on Earth and looking forward to how this will not doubt play in Skybound upcoming G.I. Joe ongoing they have in the works

I wonder where we're at in the in-universe timeline and if it'll be clear when we bridge the 6 month gap to the end of Duke and the formation of G.I. Joe. Seems possible we're not there yet as you'd think there would be a response to the USS Henry Harrison and now the space bridge.

As my first Transformers comic and first resl taste of shockwave firsthand im personally enjoying this mad scientist vibe he's going for, hes got more flamboyance to balance out Soundwave currently and he's still clearly a sadistic SOB. Also looking forward to potentially seeing Ultra Magnus take a leading role. If he gets to Teletran one and gets fixed up the numbers should be evend out again plus with Optimus so devastated with leaving Cliff and Jazz behind, Magnus may have to be the one to step up for a bit while Optimus sorts himself out

You know, that's a good point. Shockwave definitely feels more distinct than Soundwave here, and that's not always the case where those two characters are concerned. I think you're right that the whole Magnus thing is going to play into what happens with Cliff and Jazz...I'm stoked to see what shape it'll take!

Hows it going MoonBase!. Listen I know we're supposed to feel like the autobots are fighting an uphill battle , and they're constantly on the back foot, yadda yadda . But to me, too many core characters have gotten taken out on the autobots side to make this a believable war that's worth believing is being fought back out numbered. There are so many heavy hitter Decepticons now. I haven't given it deeper thought but maybe The Lambo brothers, Ironhide maybe trailbreaker could turn the tide . I mean in the Original show, The Autobots did outnumber the Decepticons and now with Astrotrain and Beachcomber its safe to assume they're including the Season2 cast. The autobots have to find a power source of course. Oh and also a spoiler warning. To your point about Beachcombers appearance, yes he did get thrown out of the ark , by Skywarp , landed on the moon , admired earth lol , got a lift home by a human moon landing misson (not sure which in histroy, becuase smartphones exist) survided reentry landed in the ocean and made his way . Do we know how long the bots have been in stasis before they were discovered by Spike&Carly? @Moonbase3 i need another IDW retrospective video . I'm halfway through All Hail Megatron lol. Alright thats enough from me 👋

You're right, the Autobots need some heavy hitters and they need them yesterday! I feel like that has to be the direction we're heading...but maybe I'm wrong. And yeah, I saw that preview for #10 as I was finishing up editing the video. Of course. 😂 That same preview had a caption at the beginning saying "millions of years ago" while the Autobots and Decepticons were fighting on the Ark, which I believe is the first real confirmation we've gotten for how long they've been in stasis. Still working on the next IDW video when I have the time. Sorry for the wait! But that's cool that you're getting through All Hail Megatron!

Shockwave and Astrotrain its looking super bleak and you probably seen the fully assembled Bruticus yeah nah, unless it's misdirection ofcourse and one of his limbs ends up dying. BUT this Dang annoying wait before the next issue. It sure seems like a good idea that you made a death counter lol . I have now seen alot of Pink energy, glowing and beams , and Now Solila with some mystical pink engery. I actually can't wait to see Springer join the rest of the bots on Earth . Do you think Skybound might show us some romance between him and Arcee not that there needs to be ofcourse just a thought since it's off back when.

As for the romantic undertones, I'm not sure. It was sort of there in the cartoon, and Skybound is following pretty closely to the cartoon, so it's a possibility!

Finally got around to reading this issue. Loved seeing beachcomber pop in, I really hope we see plenty of him. Shockwave’s more blatantly evil personality was great and a nice refresher to be totally honest, I’m not a big fan of shockwave’s that have no emotions whatsoever

One thing thats very minor i noticed, the panel where brawl and onslaught come through the space bridge, and onslaught says the ominus line "merge to form bru-". That was at the end of a page, but wasnt on a page turn. Im not sure if dwj did that on purpose as not to break our hearts(bruticus fans). In my opinion it could've had a page turn to make it feel like a sidewinder when reading.

Another great issue for me to ramble in the comments about lol. First, shockwave is a menace! Love that he seems to be much more of an antagonist like the IDW and Marvel comics, I also think the fact that’s he’s more emotive is interesting, I think maybe this is inspired by the Marvel comic take on him which is really cool, I’ve personally been wanting to see someone return to that style of him. Also love how Beachcomber is finally here, I hope he gets some major spotlight since he’s kind of an underutilized character. And his entrance was cool with that bomb and saving Spike, wonder what his story is in the next issue. Also man the deaths, Ratchet surprised me and has me wondering about the future autobot medic, could be Wheeljack but I’m personally wondering if maybe they’ll give Red Alert some spotlight as the main autobot medic. Also was it confirmed that the weird tortured skinned robot was Magnus? I’m surprised they actually have him because I thought for sure they’d have him as a dead character for the universe. Also I wonder if Jetfire is dead too, if he is then, man, was that a waste, bring him back only to be officially dead again is sad. Also I’m scared for Cliff and Jazz, Shockwave saying how he’ll do experiments has me scared for their survival, especially now that Arcee seems to be *the* friend for Carly, makes me wonder if Cliff is just going to be killed off now too, although I kind of think he’s not going too, still, scary stuff. And the Elita-1 and Optimus leadership thing is interesting, how Optimus really doesn’t want to leave his soldiers while Elita wants the whole crew to survive is interesting, seeing who prioritizes what. I’m pumped for next issue, Skybound just keeps giving lol.

I agree, the whole thing with Jetfire is a head scratcher. There's an interview with DWJ on Triple Takeover that goes into the decision to revive Jetfire that kind of makes me think he's dead again because he was never intended to be brought back in the first place. It's an interesting listen. And no, it hasn't been confirmed that the skinned Autobot is Magnus, but it seems like we're all just rolling with the assumption that it's him. I think even TFWiki is calling him Ultra Magnus. 😂

Well, if Jetfire is dead atleast he didn’t have to live his miserable existence for long I guess… although I do find it weird how when they were flying to the Deceptacon base that it didn’t seem as far as I’m aware that Jetfire was alive, he wasn’t talking at all from what I saw so was he dead already? I find it confusing lol Also I wonder if they’ll say its Ultra Magnus as that skinned bot, or pull a twist and say it’s Ironhide or something.

*Skybound/Daniel Warren Johnson. Does. Not. Miss !!!* Also, I have a question that I want everyone to get involved with. Do you think that the turbine Wheeljack's created is gonna be this universe's "soft reboot" that comics like to do when kicking off a new story and reestablishing deceased or long forgotten characters ? For me I got that feeling in both the last issue with Jetfire stuck in vehicle mode and this one, especially since Ratchet's death feels like it could be reversed near the end of this arc. Like I said whoever wants to share their thoughts don't hesitate.

Interesting idea! It feels like something's going to happen eventually to start bringing back all the characters that have died. At this point, it seems like the turbine would be their best bet!

Yeah fair point, I was thinking about that aswell . If wheeljack is still around he'd better put that to use repairing Ratchet or reviving warrior bots or restoring damaged jetfire.

Transformers Energon the cartoon had shock blast I believe who felt like a version of shock wave. being an insane character who was sorta ego driven from what I remember. Plus he was cool in that show so maybe that version is what they’re drawing from?

Skybound is pretty good about throwing plenty of surprises in!

It's still an 8/10 book, but I really feel like this was the first issue that wasn't *quite* as exciting as the previous. Not saying Transformers has "fallen off" or anything premature like that, it's perfectly expected to not like *every* issue as much as the others. I mean I still *liked* it a lot. On the plus side this one felt very Furman with the maniacal unhinged villain. It may not be Furman's shockwave, but he feels like a character he would have written in an alternate timeline..

Ahh, been waiting to hear your thoughts since reading it and as always you don't disappoint. Thanks for continuing to be the best coverage of the Energon Universe on YT! Totally agree on getting some Combaticons, based on my avatar they're definitely some of my favorites, I even sponsored Chris McFeely's basics episode on Swindle 😅 I think we'll see them together (including Brawl 😆, Vortex also got blasted pretty good by Elita as you pointed out) at some point as Bruticus is on one of the issue 10 covers. Seems like Shockwave only really lost check of his emotion when Optimus got that deep dig on him, after the battle he kinda went a bit back to more cold, calculating, and sociopathic. But I agree, I was loving Soundwave as leader but I think Shockwave takes the stakes up to a level he can't quite, given his epic comic background in almost all incarnations. Really enjoyed the Astrotrain characterization in this issue, he had some interesting lines to Spike and the other humans, and I like DWJ giving him a bit of the spotlight since we only ever really got that in a few episodes of the G1 cartoon. Even IDW did little with him, beyond his death 😂 And as a sidebar, I agree, more possible disillusionment Thundercracker? 🤔 I've really been empathizing with Elita a lot in the glimpses of her in the prior couple of issues but she really kinda galled me in this issue. She's been so gung-ho about saving (presumably) Ultra Magnus but here she's almost immediately advocating for her and Optimus to leave, well, basically everyone else behind. At the end of the day, Optimus IS the one who drove them away willingly, but I honestly believe had she not said they were gone, I think Optimus WOULD have gone back for them. Gah, it gets me too because I do really love this Cliffjumper, especially and Jazz and Ratchet are longtime favorites as well. At least my true favorite Autobot Wheeljack is ok for now, but with these DWJ body counts, who knows???

Thanks, I appreciate that! And that's cool about the sponsored episode - I think I watched that one, but I should go back for a rewatch. I really like what Johnson is doing with Astrotrain so far. It's a different take, but it's interesting and, like you said, cool that the character is getting a bit of a spotlight. And I know what you mean with Elita. I understand the reasoning behind her decision, but it's definitely a little rough. I do think you're right in that Optimus may have made a very different decision had she not pushed him so hard. I'm hopeful that Jazz and Cliff pull through this, though...gotta get that rescue mission going ASAP!

Moonbase. Tell me if I'm missing something but it feels like they turned Shockwave into G1 cartoon Megatron. Maybe to show a strong, ruthless monster when he returns. Regarding Optimus Prime, I don't mind him being flawed, all great leaders are. Do the Transformers as a race have a human understanding of heroism? Looking forward to your thoughts. I think I agree, Shockwave does have a bit of G1 Megatron flavor to him, so I think you're right. As for Transformers having a concept of heroism - that's an interesting question. I think they must have something comparable, or at least, I don't think it's beyond the realm of possibility. That would be interesting, though, if some of the Cybertronians embodied the traits of heroism without really having much of a concept of it. Thanks for the comment!

Alright! Just in time for me getting back from HeroesCon with butt load of Transformers figures and an Autograph from Daniel Warren Johnson himself! Anyway, this was a great issue. I hesitate to say Ratchet is dead dead myself because we've barely expanded on his relationship with Arcee, so that's a bit of a red flag for me that we may not have seen the last of Ratchet. Also, Bruticus is on the cover of Issue 10 so yeah I doubt Vortex is dead. I think Johnson might have a special fondness for Bruticus considering he named the band in Murder Falcon after them. Regarding Shockwave, I'm guessing that Daniel is planning on putting more focus on the "Mad scientist" aspect of Shockwave's character hence why he seems so maniac in this issue. Maybe he's just so happy to have re-established contact with Soundwave. Man that panel of Cliffjumper being dragged away is heartbreaking. Guess that's the price you have to pay for no longer being a red shirt. Lastly, I get the sense based on how Optimus is basically forced by Elita to leave Cliffjumper and Jazz behind, we might be setting up some internal conflict between the Autobots over what kind of leader the Autobots need right now.

Oh yeah, I forgot about the Bruticus nod in Murder Falcon!!! I think you're right about the internal conflict - and I'm here for it, especially if it means Elita might be clashing with Optimus. I can see Jazz and Cliffjumper potentially being a little disillusioned with Optimus after this, but at the same time, it seems unlikely that they're going to side with Elita, who was pushing OP to leave? This might undermine an overall faith in command in a way that I'm curious to see how it plays out... Plus, there's the question of how Ultra Magnus is going to fit into that command structure as well...a possible alternative? Or will he simply side with Elita or Optimus? And that's awesome that you got a signature from DWJ and some Transformers! Anything of note?

I wasn't plussed with the characterization of Shockwave, who seemed like the Bizarro-world version, although with sufficient explanation I could go with it. I love your sharp eye on the Thundercracker bit. It's such a mixed bag with certain characters personality changes. And the damage level continues to make me wonder how any of them have survived for so long. I don't know if you if you read the letter's column, but DWJ has made some comments regarding the killing of characters I didn't appreciate, but I digress. I'm never going to be out on this book, but cracks are starting to form...This isn't to say it was an un-enjoyable issue and the pace continues to be breakneck - we're onlu about 5 days removed from them waking up!

Don’t think vortex or brawl are dead because onslaught told them to combine and we’ve seen characters survive worse so brawl is probably also still active I hope we see superion as the autobot combiner

While issue 6 was the ultimate low point for the Autobots, to me this issue was much more dire and heartbreaking. The Autobots lost, Ratchet is dead, Optimus had to abandon CJ & Jazz to likely horrible deaths, Wheeljack & Arcee have to negotiate with an American militia (god help my favs they’re done for), and worst of all BEACHCOMBER HAS JOINED THE CAST. I can only take so much tragedy, Skybound. Cliffjumper and Jazz only have one shot at survival, and unfortunately my gut tells me really only Cliff has it, which is a full face turn for Thundercracker. I don’t even think it can be a moment of pity (because how the hell will they escape the ocean), no TC has to help them get to the shore and completely betray the Decepticons. Honestly if that happens, it’ll be the coolest thing so far in this series! I wonder how Arcee will react to both Magnus being back and Cliff&Jazz being abandoned? Will she see Elita One as her hero, or just as much a fool as she used to be? Also if Wheeljack doesn’t get his head blown off by the domestic terrorists, looks like he’s gonna have his work cut out for him with Magnus. Especially now that he’s the only healer… Everyone poor one out for Ratchet. Another of my favorite Autobots dead. I won’t lie I’m still a bit in denial. Since I pick up my comics on Fridays, all week I’ve been hearing whispers that someone died in this issue. Of course my immediate fear was Wheeljack (yes I am that predictable), but frankly this hits almost as hard. He went out heroically though, and in this continuity that’s really all you can hope for. But much like Denethor, I wish now that their places had been exchanged, that Beachcomber had died and Ratchet lived. Yes, I wish that. Okay so jokes aside I don’t actually mind Beachcomber, I had his Universe legends toy as a kid, but what a left field pull, eh? I like that, and honestly I hope he sticks around a while. He deserves some spotlight! Anyway, outstanding work as always MB3! Oh also I wanted to ask if you gave anymore thought to a discord server? Someone asked a while back but I’m pretty sure that was when the community was literally a quarter of its size now (congrats on 4K as well!)

So much shade being thrown at Beachcomber, I love it! 🤣 I like your theory with Thundercracker...man, I would really dig it if Skybound went this route! Ratchet's death was a gut punch, but him sacrificing himself to save Cliffjumper is as noble of a death as he could have gotten, I think. Although now Cliffjumper is about to be tortured and experimented on! Brutal. I'm dying to see what kind of reactions there are back at the Ark and where the lines are going to be drawn. You raise a great point about Arcee, but I wonder the same thing about Carly - is she going to prefer Elita's methods, or is she going to be appalled at Cliff being left behind? It's a dynamic with a lot of possibilities! As for discord, I'm still considering it, but I came across some questionable data/privacy stuff on discord that gave me pause. But I need to look into it more. Thanks for the congrats on the 4k, still seems surreal to me!

Not gonna lie I’m sad to see Ratchet go before he had a chance to go on some crazy missions with my boy Ironhide….but Cliff and Jazz are still alive so we’re good lol 👍

I agree 100%! While I was bummed to lose Ratchet, I feel like he's gotten a lot of love and attention in previous continuities...and the same can't always be said for Jazz and Cliffjumper, so as long as they stick around, I'll be happy!

The writing is so good BUT after just two appearances, I REALLY don't like Elita's MO. Leaving Cliffjumper, Ratchet, Skyfire and Jazz behind is no bueno. You'd think with Megatron's cannon, Optimus would be wreaking havoc to even the odds.

When will there be answers to whoever Elita is carrying????? People assume it’s Ultra Magnus, but I wanna be 100% sure before calling him that. For some reason I believed they’d give us Dion, but there’s been no name I guess, so I’ve been itching to find out.

That isn't Magnus that is Alpha Trion or what is left of him. The cons have no force to even scuff Ultra Magnus' paint let alone reduce him to a "skeleton". Also no wonder Hasbro is getting more hands on with the TF franchise since everyone one else recently is beating it over the head with an SSD. Hasbro needs to pull the license from these morons and fast. Then have all of this radioactive, diseased, raw sewage piled and BURNED TO ASH!
