Hi Construction Gamer, do you know if there is a way to set custom objectives for the map you create? Like make it into a Campaign scenario?

Hi CG Is there an easy way to make the terrain on an existing map fairly flat. I just like building and naking money and the northwest and Wales is so hilly it’s hard to run any nice straight tracks. Also I can’t fit in enough big cities I like the Great Britain map with a bit of Ireland and France. But flattening it with roads doesn’t work and the flatten tool becomes unresponsive on maximum setting. Thanks Hope you are feeling better soon.

You can build your own map relatively easily using the map making tool. Use the sliders to set hills to minimum.

im trying to export / get my heightmap. i simply want to change my maps water level. any help would be awesome

You can adjust the water level in the map editor, not sure if that changes the actual height map though

Can you do one on busses/trams and profitability? I’ve noticed that having a residential and commercial/industrial line is better than circular lines. The problem with circular lines is that Mina always get overcrowded at the 4or five stops centred around the train station. I think it’s because sims going to another town for work or shopping overload the station stops. Worse still the other stops are empty and the lines run at a huge loss. But you are really good at getting down to the nitty gritty of how the game works. Hope you can help

@@Infrastructure-Nerd wow thanks I love your tutorials. I like stealth17 too but yours are better as you can see the progression That signals one was the best I’ve seen. Have you any plans to do a track laying tutorial are one on how to plan Bridges and tunnels? I have quite an issue on how to use page up/down (pc) to set a level then take the tracks down to ground level. M and N don’t work on tracks and as I’m on Mac keyboard I didn’t even know until recently about being used instead of those keys.

@@Infrastructure-Nerd well I hope you do. I like videos that help me play better. The best ways of doing things, anything like the best way to set up transport hubs avoiding pitfalls. You direct factual style is refreshing A lot of other bloggers waffle a lot lol
