That would be perfect for flames! Put some red and yellow LEDs in there and it'll look amazing.

I want to do this effect for a cosplay! Have you tried it?
Your english sounds better than mine and I'm a native speaker! You're doing great!
You're so good with worbla! You've really inspired me to do my own cosplay and it's working out really well. Thank you!
Really helpful. I wondered if it worked as normal worbla and now all my questions are answered. Danke!
Always love your informative vids. Thank you Kamui and can't wait to see you apply this new material in your future cosplays.
Wow, your fingers must really be immune to heat. I read it gets much hotter than regular Worbla. Love the video. I have all your books and am itching to make my own armor.

i know right? i usually back off in an instant if i try to heat it so close to my fingers like that.

Yeah, she's admitted at panels and on other videos that working with the hot stuff for so long has probably caused a bit of nerve damage. It's not that her tolerance is high, she literally doesn't feel the heat anymore.

I think it's called Asbestos Hands. Apparently many chefs have it because they handle hot plates and things all the time.

sciguy98 Could be that all the crafting has the same effect on fingers as playing the guitar :D You get calluses on them from friction.
Ahh I love your videos so much! I love doing makeup looks for cosplay and your tutorials are really helping me learn to make armor! Loveee from NY, USA 💕
Holy crap you're adorable. Thanks for doing this video, I ordered some because I was excited at the possibilities, but it helps even more to see it in action. Just got all your books, they are so useful! I'm making my first LED cosplay and it helped a lot!
Love your expressions and sound effects. You do a great job on making the projects funnnn! :-)
Thanks for the review! Very useful and interesting. I like the general tips for forming, safety and the left overs. Thanks again and keep going!
Thanks for the review :) it is nice to see in more detail how this stuff works, Cant wait for the sheet i ordered to get here
Thanks for comparing the transparent worbla to the traditional worbla! I was wondering this exact thing this morning.
awww this is sooo nice to see you speaking English, I don't need to put subtitles anymore (yeey!!). Your accent's so cute! :3
I love your books so much! I got all of them for christmas!
This is super informative! Thanks so much!
Normally never comment on youtube video's But I just wanted to say that you come across very friendly. Just bought my first book from you and I'm sure more will follow. Keep up the awesome work! ;)
Wow ... so amazing as always Kamui-sempai ... I will follow your advice... Thank you very much!!!
Thanks for the review, it was super helpful!
Congratulations for the video and thanks for the tip!
always entertaining and informative. Thank you
I Love your videos! I've learned so much :D
Kamui, your voice is sweet to hear
Thanks for showing us, I was very curious! Great to see that you dared to do the video in English! Sounded just fine, very cute^^
Your English is excellent, and your accent is very cute. I never mind subtitled videos but this was really nice, as I could pay complete attention to what you were doing in the video without having to read. Transparent worbla seems like a completely different monster than regular worbla, with less workability. I think for some things it could be really cool, but I don't think it will replace regular worbla for things like armor making or props.
Really informative!
YOU'RE AWESOME!!!!!!!
Hope you come to Singapore again!! I missed you at last years ICDS due to work :'( My friend didn't manage to get your books for me either, was sold out fast she said. :'(
Thank you Kamui :) !
Your English is ... WOOOOOOW
So many ideas!! Thanks for the review... I really need to order your LED book! ~Sara

***** it is well worth the money. It's the same high quality you expect from her tutorial books

That frostmourne though...I would kill for that lol, looks way better than mine
I've just stumbled upon your channel and your videos are great! I'm learning so much about worbla and can't wait for mine to arrive so that I can try it out! Quick question : can you paint transparent worbla in the same way as the other types or not ?
Thanks a lot for doing this video ! I don't use worbla for my costumes (yet) but I was very curious about the transpa art :) It think this kind of transparent worbla is better for molds and jewel crafting :3
Thanks for the review! This is quite handy, and your English is superb! I wish my German was as good! Also, what video editing software were you using? It works so well!
Very informative! Thanks for sharing. Do you think you'll be making a book on transpa-art once you get more familiar with it? And Wow your english is so good! Keep up the good work :D

***** Oh no idea, ha ha! If I use it for enough projects, then surely! And thanks a lot, took me a lot of courage to talk English in front of the camera! :)
I've always wondered how you found out about worbla. As far as I know you're one of the first people to use it and they seem to support you as a company. It is an oddity specific to cosplay.
Such a cute and helpful little video! Quick question: I heard that you can dye it to get different colors, have you tried that? And if so, does light still shine through it decently? Thanks for sharing your thoughts on transparent Worbla! And thanks for always being so willing to share your knowledge with the cosplay community. You're an inspiration to so many!
thank you ti share this video with us! I made Diana's weapon with this worbla and I put a led light inside it, so I can light it up :)

+Eirym Awesome! Glad to help!
FantastiKoo !
Your accent is so cute !
I likey this material.
This is perfect to make potion bottles!! I’ve been trying to find plastic bottles forages. I’d rather not have glass brake on me in a video of an act.
Nice Job!
thanks for the vid kamui, it looks fun ^-^ i bet you also can pull of some really nice Ice/ Frost weapons with it ^-^
German accents are so cute. Makes me want to hug every German when they speak English.
Really informative video! I'm looking to craft a completely clear 'bubble helmet' for my Pikmin cosplay (literally a round, clear sphere with a hole in the bottom to put my head through) is clear worbla a good option for this?
I was hoping for a material like this as I have characters that have translucent armor pieces. Though they are colored armor so there is still another issue. Oh well. Thanks so much for the review!

From the transparent worbla page, it looks like you can easily apply tint to the worbla. It might help for your colored pieces?
@xxxDropDeadBarbiexxx

i agree with Mowseler. and if not tint,then perhaps a layer of translucent colored cellophane underneath?
have you tried tinting it at all? if so how does that work?
thanks for the review. I've had a little lighting idea I've wanted to do for ages but never the right material for it... this will work :) .... just wondering how expensive it is now :/ lol
Seems like a very similar affect when you do vacuuming form. This helps when you don't have the equipment to vacuum form.
You are Sooo cute! XD I'm gonna have to try this transpa-art stuff for sure. I hate using my stupid vacuum former.
When you used it to cast the skull from Frost mourne, what did you do with the cast?
Could you use this to cover armor to give it a shiny look?
Does it stick to regular worbla? Could I for instance use it for something like the Shadowmourne axe?
hello! do u think it could be used to make molds for resin?
i read that transpa needs a higher temperature to melt than regular worbla, should you use protective gloves if it gets too hot?
Have you tried to use the transparent art in your breast plates? My eva foam breastplate is supposed to be outlined with clear warbla handpained to diffuse light from LEDs placed in the foam.
Can you tell me how waterproof it is... Like if I were to make a sphere and fill it with water and then seal it up would that work? (like a snow globe)
You're so cute!
How would you tint the transparent worbla a certain colour?
Great tutorial! Is it possible to tint transparent worbla, if you're using it to create gem stones? Does it take color well?
@KamuiCosplay
Jennifer Keating You can glue a colored foil on top, use glass paint and surely something I still didn't discovered yet. The material is still to know to give any clear answers, but I'm sure we will figure a lot out soon! :)
Can you make a clear upper body suit too is it possible?
Mind blown at 2:13
It could be quite perfect for the visor of a space helmet or something similar.
does transparent worbla stick to itself as well so you can make a 2mm sheet out of two 1mm sheets?
It doesn't look like it holds its shape as well as normal worbla. Is anyone else seeing that? Like, it doesn't look like you can get as detailed with it.
@KamuiCosplay
LynneBat You have to work actually completely different then with normal Worbla. It colds down really fast, burns your finger easier and loses it's shape very easy when it you heat it up again. You really need to practice to work with that material, so you also have to find a new way to add details to it.
German comment because my english is not that good. Danke :)
Is there any way to tint this material? What about the availability of pre-tinted sheets?
If youre just starting out, buying ll the materials can be pricey as you know haha, would you say Warbla is cheaper in the long run? Or still more of a specialty material?
I'm new and starting to cosplay can you explain some tips of cosplay

super late but mango sirene has an entire series dedicated to cosplay tips for beginners.
Since the summer here tends to be really hot and humid I wonder if it would be dangerous that the material lose it's form. Do you think it would be good once it's molded to put some kind of varnish on it to help it?
@KamuiCosplay
Goldarcanine A varnish wouldn't help, but usually you shouldn't be that worried about heat. Just don't let your stuff at the back of a car during the summer in the middle of the sun. Same rule for Worbla and other thermoplastics. :)
What is the texture of this like? It looks really smooth to me. I've had trouble with normal Worbla in the past acheiving a smooth finish.
@KamuiCosplay
It's very smooth so you can directly paint it!
Hello ^^ I am going to try soon using transpa art , and I would like to know the temperature of the heat gun if possible please 😊
@nishapoo
Their website says 120° Celsius or 250° Fahrenheit
i want ask you about your books, Are it available in Spanish? I love your all cosplay :3 Thank you so much!
When are you going to make a cosplay costume this material?
I saw some modelism videos where they use PET bottles as a transparent thermoplastic, basically using a heat gun exactly as you do. (but with gloves =P) Have you already tried it? do you tink Transparent Worbla has any advantages compared to this method? (considering the price, that is definitely much higher ^^)
Does it stick to flex tape?
You are very, very, very, veryyyyyy.... Beautiful
Do you prefer Normal or transparent Worbla? I can see that the transparent is very flexible...so I guess less resistant to shocks?
@KamuiCosplay
Coco95Papoy It's actually much easier to work with normal Worbla, but the Transpa Art gives me completely new idea for projects! I guess, you have to learn to work with both materials to find their advantages and disadvantages! :)
We’re can we buy worbla?
After you are done molding it, it is really hard and stay the new shape?
@KamuiCosplay
Tisheriffic As long as you don't reheat the material again, it stays in it's shape! :)
can you paint it?
молодец

Can be used for gems, like the big one from Jaina's staff?

Does it stick to worbla by any chance?
@KamuiCosplay

komyn27 It tried it several times. It sticks, when both is heat up, but once they are cold down I can separate Worbla and Transpa Art from each other pretty easy. So I would say no.

i can see it being used for some cyborg, futuristic designs
