WARNING - at 4:20 John attempted to turn the drain plug the wrong way. It's a wonder he did not completely strip the threads with the extension bar. Glad he corrected the problem.

You forgot to remove the check-bolt to find out if the amount of fluid you replaced with is sufficient. I would do that first before I do the final step in turning on the engine and do the changing of gears in 5 second intervals.

Some people warm up the transmission by driving it around for 10-15 min. And then they drain and fill.

Drain = Remove, Fill = Add

Most of the civics are not 4+ qts. capacity. You should see if you have an oil dilution problem.

Does anyone know the part number for the transmission fill bolt and gasket?? I like to have spare parts, but can’t find a part number anywhere. I’ve tried going to local dealership and they can’t locate the part either. I have a 2021 civic hatchback sport 1.5L

Question did you figure out the system message indacator ( i ) it was still on, that means you have a message of something that my need to get fix
