A rap artist who goes by the name Seafood Sam, 27, was born in the Carmelitos neighborhood lot 12 in North Long Beach. Now Sam not only promotes his music locally but also travels throughout Japan and Europe to promote his music.
Seafood Sam's father was a marine who they call Sarge and has three brothers with the youngest one died of a brain tumor. His brother His older brother Marquise Goodwin went to college and is now an educator and his other brother who goes by Big Ant is a gang member. Sam did not follow either of his brother's footsteps. Instead head made his path, the middle rout of his brothers.
Sam started experimenting with music in his sophomore year in high school and 2014 is where he got serious writhing and promoting his music.
