Great video on how to transition from forward facing to high back booster. Only thing I would recommend that could have been mentioned is the carsest needs to be reclined to position 6 as well.

You simply use the lower anchors to keep the seat in place and then buckle the child in.

But in booster mode the lower anchors are only holding the seat in place when the child isn’t in the booster (otherwise the child’s weight is what holds it in when lower anchors are not able to be used) so it doesn’t become a projectile in a crash! So instead of the seatbelt or lower anchors holding the seat in place while it’s in harness mode and the harness holding in the child, the lower anchors are holding the seat in place while the seatbelt is what’s holding the child in now. Does that make sense?

Hi! I have a 2023 Tahoe and my third row does not have the lower anchors… would it still be fine to use and just use the back latch behind the seat?

Felt stupid after watching this. It's extremely easy. We thought we had to remove straps. Nope. Just hides away. Thanks for making this. Easy and fast! Appreciate you!

Do you need to anchor this to the car? I want to use this in a seat with no latch anchors but my logic says in an accident the seat will crush the child as the seatbelt stops everything together

I think you have to anchor the seat with the seat anchors and use the seat belt across the child’s chest/lap.

@@MrsButtersworth82 Yes, that's correct. I figured it out once I put the seat back in the car. There's a red hook near the top and the belt slips into it. Then, you just buckle it as normal.

Oh so I don't have to purchase a brand new booster? Lol. I feel really dumb lol.

Use the shoulder belt from the car to secure it each time your kiddo gets in
