So glad it is being offered to customer teams, I look forward to seeing more than one corvette on the grid! More variety is always a good thing in racing grids. And to have ford come to gt3 next year, its going to be very interesting watching you guys battle it out. After hearing how gutted they sounded in this video from the rough lemans in 2022 its really nice to know they won freaking lemans this time on their last year! What a sendoff!

@@nicklovely6431 My guess is a good few million at least. The car alone is probably 500-750k, then you have to pay an entire team of engineers, drivers, pit crew. As well as ship the car across the country/world to different races. Race tracks also charge money either for entering a race or for test days, which can get expensive quick. You have to do all of that plus remember to have like 3 or 4 spare parts of pretty much every part that's on the car.

She’s gonna be a beast! I would like to see this car overseas more though (specifically in the DTM, and or Fanatec GT series in Asia, Europe and Australia). Major events as well like the Crowdstrike 24 hours at SPA etc. The car is the car, but competing on a world stage against some of the others countries top driving talent is a truer measure of long term performance.

I remember hearing the C7R for the first time and it sounded like the world was shaking apart. Now that they have the flat plane crank and DOHC, the higher revs make it sound more and more like a ferrari. I want a C8 of some kind in the future, be it the stingray Z51 or the Z06. I don't know if the extra money for the DOHC 5 liter is worth it though, payments and insurance will definitely be up there, lol.

Lets not forget what a blessing the Callaway Corvettes were and are for allowing Corvette fans to see their favourite brand race Globally and represented in GT3 when P&M were making racing Vettes solely for Manufacturer use only. I do hope Callaway have signed up for one of these GT3 R's in future. I don't think there is a worthier customer🥲
