I was disappointed the Corvette teams didn't finish better this year. Love the Z06 C8.R

No worries. Team Corvette will prevail.

Kudos to the roof camera operator. The pass on the Porsche @6:24. The view of the pits almost gave you the real sense of speed. Obviously, being behind the wheel would be a more accurate sense of speed but it was still a great sequence.

Never would’ve thought this car was an NA V8. Thought it would’ve been at least single turbo

Did the front engine non-flat plane crankshaft ones do better? Did we lose something in the switch to the rear engine different engine design? Why also did we switch from 50/50 balance to more in the rear? I saw the battery in the passenger seat and all this got me scratching my head.

@@JCKCPA Not the corvette suffered from technical issues due to a collision with another car. The mid engine variant is in every way superior to the front engine variant in these races.

I truely miss the cross plane crank deep rumble sound the old corvettes made. This sounds likes a Ferrari.....bring back that thunder v8 sound!

I am amazed how poorly GM performed in both the GTD Pro and AM class this years Daytona.

I mean the #3 and the #4 cars were running 1st and 3rd at one point. AWA Racing doing the GTD program for the first time a lot of things to learn. sure the cars got problems and thats ok it's a new car they will improve just like the Ford cars have their problems...

Dear General Motors Performance . I'm old enough to remember what it was like for the hairs on the back of my neck & arms to stand up to get goose bumps just standing next to a Big block Vette I remember seeing a factory silver 350 LT-1 vette and thinking damn that has to sound amazing . How Or who told you guys the performance or the sound ofg this New Vette are what the public wanted ? WELL YOU GOT IT WRONG...Hey look if you want a 5th place car then sure I it's fine But a #1 car not hardly...

This car needs a brake upgrade

I don't notice any of the other cars having the terrible brake squeak. Anyone know why the Corvette brakes are so obnoxious? LOL!
