As a woman I feel like trans women are more protected by most people. The reason why women have their own league is because we can't compete with men. I feel like trans people need their own league. I feel like people need to start respecting women's spaces and rights.

As a white woman I feel like black women are more protected by most people... Does that sound right to you? It doesn't sound right to me. Trans women were winning back in 2016 but conservatives didn't make it a problem until 2019 when 2 black girls beat a couple of white girls. The white girls were supposed to win so they sued. THEN trans girls were a problem in sports. Doesn't that make your hackles go up? It does mine! Did you know that thousands of trans girls have played in girl's/women's sports since 2014? In all that time only 9 have made it to the top. Because any trans woman dared to win, all must be punished.

No way! You either play with your biological gender, or you do not play at all. There are so few transgender people, most schools would not have enough trannys to form teams. How about we have had enough of this distraction from democrats, and democrat voters demand that they are informed what’s really happening. Notice, all this transgender push disappeared when Trump was in office. Started with Obama, ended when trump got in, and continued as soon as Biden took office. Maybe a good distraction to keep our eyes off of record inflation, lack of housing inventory caused by the strict lending regulations put in place, child trafficking over our open border….. Democrats are backwards, and republicans are what democrats were 30-40 years ago.

There are a lot more critical issues going on in the world, like climate change, healthcare, gun violence, drugs, immigration, etc. My hope is that Democrats will change. In order to play sports in school we had to have a doctor inspect our balls and turn in a healthy physical exam.

While I do agree that they probably shouldn't be allowed in things like the olympics, if a trans woman has been on hrt for a couple years they should be allowed to participate in smaller sports events in the gender category that they identify with. I dont think some people understand that estrogen DOES make you quite a bit weaker. The only reason I say they shouldn't be allowed in the olympics is because in olympic level events the smallest things can make a big difference and I imagine even if she has been on estrogen for like 10 years or something like that she'd probably still have a slight advantage which people probably wouldn't like very much. Also about the whole surgery thing, they only ever really give teens and children under the age of 18 sex reassignment surgery if their like tits or dick are causing them so much distress to the point that they're suicidal. Also dont come to me yapping about, "ermmm?!?? what about Chloe Cole??!?!?!" fuck Chloe Cole, she just had a really hasty medical team and now she thinks everybody else is going to have one as hasty as hers. Trust me, I bet like every trans person wishes they got care as easily as Chloe Cole did. Also, on a side note, the regret rates for sex reassignment surgery are very low. I think it's like 0.5 percent. Oh yeah if you're gonna leave a comment like this please at least try reading over it a couple times. It only takes like 10 seconds.

Did you know that a trans woman MMA fighter jumped into the ring with a woman and fractured her skull? And this trans woman was celebrated for it by the trans community. So yes. I want to see the trans men put their health and safety on the line instead of supporting big strong trans women hurting real women. My whole point is that the trans community is one giant pile of lies and everyone knows it.

Multiple states are trying to ban puberty blockers right now, but lots more youth would be using them if it was allowed. Your concern isn’t making sure trans girls are competing fairly, because if it was, you’d be pro puberty blockers. Unless I’m mistaken and you are?

Actually that girl should be allowed to play in girls sports. She obviously went through a female puberty so she has no advantage over anyone else. Furthermore this isnt really competitive, so they shoulr not be banned anyway. If we go to competitive sports like the Olympics thats a completely different discussion

And yet he’s still banned from woman’s sports for good reason. If you think children who don’t go through their bodies natural puberty are okay? Regardless of this, the child was still born male, their biological sex and every cell in their body is male. No amount of hormones and drugs will ever change that fact. The poor child is being abused not helped. I can’t imagine being okay with children being forced to go through that. He didn’t go through female puberty, it was artificial. He will never have a period, he will never breast feed a child, will never have a vagina. It’s just sad how the medical community is lying to children saying yes you will be a girl 100%. Jazz Jennings is such a sad case where he was lied to by the people around him. His mother always wanted a girl. Grooming him to be okay with even genitalia mutilation. I’m fairly certain he now has major medical issues and mental issues. It’s not okay and it’s not healthy. People say it’s life saving health care when long term it’s killing them.

lets all be onest here. most people don't have a problem with the trans them who are close in body type. lets be real. it's that if you start letting all boys compete with the girls, just because they say they identify then it allows certain people to take advantage. The Olympics are one thing, and that’s a different conversation. But HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS?!?! No trans kid should ever be banned from joining the sports team that matches their gender identity. Also, for the people who are going to say that being on a hs team prevents cis kids from making it on a college team, there are rules around transgender athletes in the NCAA, so just because a transgender girl is on the high school girls field hockey team, it doesn’t mean she will be recruited for the NCAA. And therefore isn’t taking a spot from anybody. Let’s let kids play sports and feel safe and comfortable.

Then there's the physiological aspects hormones never change like increased heart size, lung capacity, bone density, etc. Leave women's sports alone. It's that simple. If you want to see the pendulum swing in the wrong direction, keep putting the feelings of a few over the rights of 50% of America. Just watch and see. First, nobody picks their gender. (I'm trans and I didn't. Did you?) Trans kids finally have the information they need to tell us who they are and get the help they need. Second, gender (in this context) is a subjective idea that describes an internal sense of self that NEVER changes. It has nothing to do with sexual orientation or the act of sex. Third, *thousands of trans girls have played sports* since 2014 yet only 7 have made tier 1. Conservatives have decided ALL trans kids are to be punished because the 7 dared to win. *Gender Identity* Imagine the perfect body for yourself. Are you tall? Thin? What sex is this imagined body? That "sex" is your gender identity. The way you see it today is how you've always been and will always be. Sure, that perfect body will change, but not your gender identity. And, yes, you can change that image but it always returns to the same "sex". It's an unchanging ("immutable") trait despite being subjective. Conservatives have politicians. Trans people have doctors. Which are notorious for telling lies again?

When you open the Pandora Box there is no way to came back... Also i like how in USA you use science (and as a scientist myself is ironic) to back up something that fit your narrative (by republicans and democrats in the same ways) then suddenly it is a matter of social justice, feelings or such when science is not in your favour... my heart goes out to these trans gender girls. they need our support. so too, do biological girls, who play sports. i believe the experience kids get through sports participation really can have a positive impact on them which carries into later life. the way the argument is currently structured, for one side to win, the other side has to lose. i don't see a way around that. therefore, we need to conceptualize the issue differently. with that in mind, i think ultimately the solution, when it comes to participation in sports is to acknowledge the fact that some girls are physically endowed with the Y chromosome, in addition to the X chromosome. And in such cases, since sports are in large measure, about physicality, girls with an X and Y chromosome should participate on that basis. it doesn't mean they should be identified as male. neither should they be thought of as male. it simply means they should participate in sports on the basis of having X and Y chromosomes. It doesn't have to have to have anything to do with their gender or sexuality, it has to do strictly with biology. i know, next up then is the issue of bathrooms and locker rooms etc. as for that range of issues, believe me, if we can agree with regard to the participation issue. the bathroom, shower issues will work themselves out. kids are pretty broad minded and adaptable. be honest, trans sexualism or gender dysmorphia or however you choose to view it, has been with us forever. it is part of the human condition. the solution is not to fix anyone. the solution is acceptance. for instance, japan doesn't distinguish between men and women when it comes to public restrooms. we can make the adjustment.

The Y chromosome doesn’t produce male-typical athletic advantage all by itself though; puberty with male-typical testosterone levels is required, and trans girls like Rebekah did not have that.

@@JohnDoe-fz5cz I’m talking about how the presence of the Y chromosome, male-typical testosterone production, and male-typical testosterone response are different things. The latter two are required to produce the athletic advantage associated with men. They generally follow from the Y chromosome, but can be avoided, as trans girls on puberty blockers do.

If you are a biological male, play sports where your playing field is compatible with your gender at birth. Not how you feel. Chemistry for one. Girls playing mixed football after a certain age is inappropriate. Sorry. You just proved trans activists' point. Notice how you said you had to leave football AFTER your 12th birthday? That's because that's around where puberty starts. But BEFORE puberty, both sexes are evenly matched in athletics (there are studies on this). But here's the thing, if conservatives just let trans youth go on puberty blockers, we wouldn't have this issue! Because it's male puberty that makes them physically stronger. Trans girls who went on puberty blockers, then transitioned to estrogen have no physical advantage against other girls. But you lot don't want trans youth to have access to puberty blockers, so all you're proving is that you don't want trans people to succeed, even if there's a fair and safe option RIGHT THERE. And before you go on and say puberty blockers are child abuse, they are COMPLETELY REVERSIBLE and have been used and respected since the 1980s. You can stop them at any time, and you'll continue through with puberty as usual. There's lots of research into this, as they have been used for decades now.

Priests around the world still have a major problem with child abuse. So do police. Odd how the criminals are the people helping children in ways conservatives don't remotely understand - or want to understand.

Well, until there are enough trans people to make an official league I'm personally opposed to the unfairness of biological women playing against trans women. There are already not a whole lot of women compared to men even competing in certain sports, take skateboarding for example. And the differences in strength between genders is especially glaring when you watch an extreme sports like skateboarding. It's simply an unfair playing field backed by scientific evidence. Women are still a marginalized group and fought tooth and nail for every right they have for an equal playing field and I'm against biological men regardless of their identity taking these spots from them. On a side note, until we can race switch legally, i also don't believe in gender switching. We are born what we are and sometimes we don't like it and it sucks but that's life. I respect trans people and call them by their identity but that's where it ends for me.

@@munraito1518 What sports did you hate competing in, how big/tall are you? That was an interesting statement to make. For adults playing at the highest levels of sports, like NCAA, it's highly unlikely any woman would be good enough to play against men, unless they went down a level, for example, the top NCAA Division I female tennis players may be able to do okay against some low ranking men at D3 schools. I don't know why that would be appealing, though. I find basketball frustrating because to be successful, being in at least the 95 percentile of height is a must. Having some height limits (like only one super tall player on a team) would be interesting to explore. I don't know why they have separate chess categories, but I know in rubiks cube competitions, men and women compete together and there are WAY more males at the top, but there's also just more males interested in the activity and competing. A study also showed men are better than women at rotating 3D objects in their mind.

Dont protect womens sports. CHANGE THE CATERGORIES. Make a transgender catergory to make everything fair physically for everybody.

You can’t tell me that this young woman is really a boy and should be treated as such. She clearly has assimilated well into femaleness and there is no shred of maleness to her at this point. She hasn’t gone through male puberty, only female pubescence.

But how many trans girls have a similar body type as Rebekah? Maybe she started her transition before or in middle school? Transitioning seems to look a lot different post puberty. Just search trans bjj (Brazilian Jiujitsu) and you can see that it can be unsafe.

Animals do change their sex. In humans the process is vastly more complex. I'd prefer to avoid that college-level discussion. Furthermore gender dysphoria emerges as a psychological issue, not biology. We need psychology to identify the problem then doctors work to rectify the problem. Sex over gender? Great. Then nobody needs rights. They only obstruct biology and slow the reproductive process. Personally I think being mentally healthy is worth modifying biology. How can you look at Rebekah and see a boy?

When do signs of dysphoria start to manifest? Also how can you tell the difference between “real” trans and a case of social contagion? Without a doubt trans and non binary stuff has blown up amongst the youth, especially white kids.

First, please keep in mind "transgender" is an umbrella term that covers people with gender dysphoria and non-binary people. Most people equate "transgender" with just gender dysphoria. Non-binary children don't associate with male or female... it's very nuanced and wide-ranging. Suffice to say most non-binary people never have surgery. Second, "transitioning" is a treatment for gender dysphoria, not depression or anxiety. Those are handled separately. Surgery only happens in 11% of trans patients. --- Gender dysphoria is like all illnesses: it affects different people in different ways and to different degrees. Some children are DESPERATE for change at the age of 3. Others don't notice their dysphoria until adulthood. MOST children are affected by the time puberty starts. The most common differences between persistent and temporary gender dysphoria are the 3 Ents: - *Persistent* - lasting at least 1 year. - *Insistent* - the child insists they _ARE_ the opposite gender. (Other kids _WANT_ to be the opposite gender.) - *Consistent* - their story does not change. This has not blown up by any stretch. News just wants you to THINK it's blown up so you'll be outraged and want to hear more. You've heard about tens of thousands of trans kids? There are an estimated 300,000 transgender children. Only 5% are being treated. If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

If trans girls like Rebekah are not the problem, then they, at the very least, should be able to play on the girls’ team. Dealing with other trans athletes may be more of a challenge, but people making rules for trans athletes need to remember that people like Rebekah exist.

In about 10 years after enough kids grow up to detransition. And we get more support for the fact that suicide rates don’t go down after transitioning. The woke mob likes to use suicide ATTEMPTS as their main statistic, but attempts mean nothing compared to real suicides which is what counts. Suicides of kids who transition is about as high as the gender dysphoric kids who don’t, perhaps lower.

@@johnlee5937 Scientific fact. US Air Force conducted a huge study and found trans women performed the same as cis women after 2 years on hormones. There was 1 exception: trans women tend to have longer legs so they run slightly faster.

No one says don’t play we say play in the proper category. Kids are growing up so mentally weak from always having “safe spaces” I’m not a pushover and will not allowed this to happen to my child. Overall this is harming trans kids the most because they’re pushed to transition with hormones and surgeries that shouldn’t be happening at their age. Affirming care is toxic empathy, it’s fake and this is the legacy the current generation will leave. That they are so disturbed by adults around them that they never got the chance to be a kid. “Since birth” please kids memory don’t start until they’re around 5 to 7. That’s why kids get sent to do actual leaning at 5.

If fairness matters, why are athletes with the greatest biological advantages celebrated? They have MASSIVE advantages over other players and yet that's fair... If you want fair, why not compare the people playing sports: trans girls to cis girls instead of men to women? What about trans girls that take puberty blockers? What about sports where girls have the biological advantage? Thousands of trans girls have played sports since 2014. Why have only 7 made tier 1 status? Maybe politicians really are liars to their core and doctors really are educated and experienced. [Edit] There are DOZENS of biological advantages that affect different sports in different ways. These advantages are POSSIBLE, not guaranteed. And anyone can get them. Yet conservatives want to pretend there's just 1 advantage and ALL trans girls have it.

And your solution is to make people taking testosterone blockers, face people with testosterone? Do you not realize that's literally the same issue, but worse?... That doesn't work. There have been endless cases where an intersex child has been raised as 1 sex only to emerge in their teens as the opposite sex. You can't brainwash gender identity into a person.

@@LOST-LT trans people have been allowed in women's sports since 2014. You want to change that rule. I'm the past 9 years across over 50 sports only 7 trans women won. Hundreds, if not thousands of trans girls have played. How is excluding them fair? HRT reduces male "advantage" to female levels. That's proven. And what about trans girls that take puberty blockers?
