For those of you who don't know, NEVER paint exterior brick, if you can avoid it. That brick will spall over time from moisture being trapped behind the paint. The freezing and heating will cause the face of that exterior brick to crumble from expansion and shrinkage. Bricks are extremely porous, and they absorb the moisture from the air. That's why contractors almost never paint red brick walls.

A nice, easy to understand transformation! My only two cents would be to get the plants up off the porch. Very nice!

There's a lot to be said for taking somebody's backstory into account.
What a difference you did an amazing job. I’m in love with the yellow door.🥰
Dang. You got that right, bright canary yellow ain’t boring!
Definitely not boring! Years ago my father painted our garage door yellow.
Certainly brightens it up. Maybe even paint the planters? Not sure what color. Nice job!

Yeah. It looks like he took them out of the black plastic pots they came in, only to put them in other black plastic pots. Lol.
It was very enjoyable to see how he Cheered up his front door with right pains. Thank you.

Painted brick breaks my heart ❤️
YELLOW, YES!!! 💛 I always see people do red doors, and while that does look nice, so many people do it. I am all about being uinque and I have always wanted my door yellow! This is perfect.
Beautiful job! Love it ❤
I love it!!! I probably would've went with a dark blue door, but that's my preference!!! But, the yellow 💛💛💛 is gorgeous too!!! Great job!!! It's certainly not boring anymore!!! It's completely gorgeous!!! 💛

I agree with you about the door color but everything else was great

I agree as well… Blue is absolutely beautiful!❤
Changed it from a cozy entryway into a sterile IKEA display. To each their own.

Painted the brick, tossed the unique patterned-glass security door, and topped it off with cheapo hardware.

Cozy? It looks creepy and dirty and like it reeks of cigarettes
The yellow door isn’t really my cup of tea but looks good - really brightens up the entrance
