Transforming A Garage On A Budget! | Part 1: Disassembly and Planning

Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

Hey Everyone,
Today we are starting the garage build. As much as I would have liked to jump straight into the next car project, I know that if we don't upgrade the garage now, we will just get used to how it is. It's way easier to change things before we fully move tools in.
Tons of car videos on the way! Once the garage is all set we will jump straight into a big project!
Thank you for watching! Consider liking and subscribing for more.

Came for the E30, staying for the storytelling :). A few thoughts on garage: I'd guess plywood will be a multiple more expensive than drywall. Before you start sealing up the walls, think about putting a LOT of electrical outlets at table height and some additional studs/4x4's in spots where you might want to mount something (including above). In general, use the vertical space (though I avoid hanging hand tools on the wall because it is so inefficient). If you can do the wiring and drywall yourself, you can get things pretty nice for a reasonable amount of money.

I absolutely love the voiceover and the storytelling of your videos and I love all your cinematography and how it meshes with the vibe of your videos and I love how well the music adds to the story that you tell. I think that’s my favorite part of all, the fact that you don’t just work on your car and make videos but that you tell a story and that you do a really great job at telling that story. Please keep up the good work and I hope more people appreciate your work and enjoy it as much as I do. PS. I also have an e30 and am using your series on your e30 to figure out what I want to do with mine in terms of its future plans.

I agree having a window and natural light or make a big difference to that space, As for the table, even though it is rather on the large size you never know when you’re going to need it why don’t you put hinges on it bolt it to the wall so you can fold it up to the wall out of the way , this will give you the best of both Wells a table that you can use when you need it and when you don’t need it, it’s not in your way , as always keep up the good content looking forward to seeing what you do with the garage

Another exciting video!! You are literally living out my next dreams. I’m glad that I waited to the end to comment because the entire time I was watching I was coming up with ideas like insulation only to find later that you also had those visions. So excited for your progress and success from one guy to another.

The table can physically go out. There's just nowhere to put it out there and it's too big to fit in the shed haha

@@HunterDirection I see. Consider putting some wheels on it? Some beefy casters will give you a great work space and the flexibility to move it close to what you're working on.
