bloody hell hasbro made a master piece with this big behemoth. i think the only issues i have are needing to pull specific parts off of this tidal wave to form a mini darkfleet, along with not being able to transform him into the big warship mode without needing to partsform.

@@jupiterjones5536 Indeed, he's up there with like even G1 Omega Supreme where unless you completely just take the concept of the character and design him entirely from the ground up, any design that really pays homage to the original will have to be a Partsformer. I liked the mini Dark Fleet's integration in the base mode, and of course combining with Armada Megs. The mass shifting in that series was pretty OTT lol

i was mostly speaking about how it was with the OG toy. and if memory serves, specifically in the energon cartoon, tidal wave has been seen transforming without needing to disassemble himself. either way this new toy we got of him is still great.

I brought out my Armada Tidal Wave toy as I watched this, wow, it has changed so much

Armada's gimmicks were pretty wild, glad Hasbro was able to pay modern tribute to a lot of them so well. Great video :)

You know looking at tidal wave any one else think he looks like a ship from a gundam series?

. . . Feels like a very so-so design. Shape-wise, very blocky, very stiff, very robotic, unless you are into that kind of architecture, does not seem it would be very appealing to nowadays customers, unless target market are children or younger teens? But the design seems a bit nostalgic, unless there are a new series with the same overall design... Transformation-wise, also kind of simplistic, so another point for younger customers, I suppose?

What was the name of the song that played in the beginning of this episode? Because it nearly brought me to tears when I heard it.😥 Especially since I recently heard that Transformers: Reactivate might end up being cancelled, right after they gave us the toys!
