I play a tanky class in the game I'm competitive in and this sometimes leads to situations in which I'm holding multiple opponents at a time while my team either maneuvers around or retreats. This scene always plays in my head when I'm holding a team by myself especially when I sometimes win it myself

He got his ass kicked because he was holding back. There were a bunch of people around.

Shia's hand injury was real, while filming he was driving and got hit by another vehicle and his hand was injured pretty badly. So, Sam's hand being burned was a way to explain his injury

fun fact, Jet fire was around in the VERY beginning of cybertron and knew the original 13 primes. and, back when he was at his full strength, he could go toe to toe against the original primes. Well, he wouldn't win but he held his own. He was also one of the original seekers (flying type transformers).

Awesome, what carrier were you on? Ship's company or squadron? I was on the Enterprise CVN 65 from 1996 to 1999. We did 2 Mediterranean cruises in that time. It was tough but as I assume you felt, there's so much pride in finishing a 6 month deployment. On the first cruise we left on June 23rd and came back on December 20th. It was the best feeling in the world when we came into the Chesapeake Bay and could see Norfolk

If I remember correctly, the scene when the Fallen swings his weapon before taking the matrix from Optimus, you can see that he beheads one of the soldiers. A gruesome detail that many people missed.

Soundwave is using the same voice actor, Frank Welker, just without the vocoder effect. In the original cartoon he would use that same voice which he also used for Dr Claw in Inspector Gadget. The Decepticon disguised herself as Alice is known as a pretender. It was a gimmick and subline near the end of the 80s after the original cartoon.

I feel like killing Optimus Prime in any incarnation of Transformers is a punishable offense. At least they had Optimus get some payback by forcing Megatron to shoot himself in the face with his own cannon before executing The Fallen, who by the way has a real name: Megatronus, who happens to be one of the original Primes.

Dude he dies in every single form of media he is in. Even multiple times. It's not an offense it's legit something that solidifies a transformer project.

Elita-1 used to be Optimus's love interest. She used to be called Ariel and was remade by Alpha Trion in G1 after being shot down by Megatron along with Orion Pax at the docks where he worked (In G1, Optimus was a dockworker, not a data clerk)

One of the parts I loved about this movie was how at the beginning, Sam's dad was rushing to send him off to college and essentially get rid of him. After seeing him in the desert when that decepticon released them, the dad didn't wanna let go of Sam. To me it really warmed my heart!

i'm surprised Jane hasn't seen so many of these movies, they're usually all top hits.

@@Anonuk94 I personally rank TLK over ROTF. I still do like both at the end of the day but there's something about The Last Knight that appealed to me. But my personal #1 Bayverse film is absolutely DOTM.

That wasn’t Blackout. That was a characters called Grindor and Michael Bay basically reused Blackout’s CGI model for him. That happens a lot in these films where they reuse assets with slight modifications

The Decepticon chopper in this movie is Grindor, he shares a similar design to Blackout, but he's bigger and slightly different.

I was shocked when I first saw that Alice was a Decepticon. There's actually comics connected to the Bayformers explaining her origin. The comics say that Alice was never real. The Decepticon saw a life-size doll called Alice (based off of Alice in Wonderland) and took its form and name. Others like to think that there was an Alice but was killed by that deception and replaced her. That real Alice was when she passed Sam in the hall to leaving his car. The Decepticon could've killed her when she was walking alone at night. Later on, that's when she starts to act weird and more aggressive because that's when she was replaced.

27:10 fun fact: Wheelie, the little Decepticon RC toy truck is voiced by Tom Kenny (Spongebob)

Fun fact for all the nerds in the comments: The Decepticon Sideswipe kills at the start of the movie is called Sideways. A character who first appeared in Trasformers Armada cartoon. In that continuity he's portrayed as an indestructible dimension hopping transformer who joins whatever side that best benefits him and when it inevatibly blows up in his face he travels to a different dimension to try agian (Sometimes faking his death to do so). The character has appeared in other continuities like Transforerms Animated where it is strongly hinted at that he is the same Sideways from Armada on another dimension hop and even ties into the movies as well. So the Sideways in the movie is the exact same character as the one from the cartoons

Navy Aircraft Carriers carry about 5000 people, the ship that got attacked was the USS Roosevelt iirc. Also at least one of the Naval ships shown in this movie is a submarine that, for some reason, shows its crew wearing uniforms with the symbol for the USS Vinson, a carrier. Which was a little weird.

15 YEARS AGO TODAY TRANSFORMERS 2 REVENGE OF THE FALLEN PREMIERED IN THEATERS!!!!!!!!!! I definitely remember seeing this in theaters back in 2009!!!!!!!!! Definitely had a great time with this!!!!!!

The red and the green one was a great idea in my opinion and they were a hilarious addition because there are transformers and moments that I know of that they remind me of a d my dad and I liked them when I was growing up I'm glad they added them in the movie because they fit their moments and show they have personality. They would be like grimlock.

This movie is one of my fav movies in the Transformers franchise. Off-topic: I like the black top with white sharp lines Jane wore for the majority of the video. It looks like abstract art.

Also I like the twins and it's sad what happens to them in the comics

Optimus vs The Fallen is my favorite fight. very brutal

They didn't actually kill the other constructicon when resurrecting Megatron. They just took some parts. Other parts were taking from the dead Decepticons from the first movie too, particularly the tank parts from the tank bot Brawl.

FYI Railguns do exist. They've been in existence since before this movie.

Funny thing about the autobots falling to earth in the first movie.. the guy that mentions that is way cooler than Armageddon... Michael Bay directed that movie also! It was a reference and poke at him! This movie was made during a writers strike... Which is the reason for not much of a script. Still like the movie though. Idk how some people just brush off movies due to one thing they dislike...

Actually, we do have rail guns, however, the navy cancelled it. Instead, the navy will be moving on to Long Range Hypersonic Weapons.

30:19 That is NOT Blackout but rather another helicopter Decepticon named Grindor (even though they share the similar body type but different helicopter models), not only that but Bonecrusher also makes reappearance as a clone/drone (A Decepticon that looks like Bonecrusher, but is rather just a simple clone). Also Scorponok didn't die in the first movie, he just lost his stinger/tail. There are a lot of decepticon clones (like Scrapper, Longhaul, Brawl the tank) that make their reappearances in the second and third movie

Hell yeah you need to watch all of the transformers movies. How can u not wanna see more Optimus & Bumblebee? lol.

Megatron's vehicle form is a tank. Looks almost like the Scorpion tank from Halo

I hate what they did with Soundwave in this movie because he's supposed to be a total badass that is one of the most trusted Decepticons by Megatron, but they just made him a giant satellite that gets info, sends it out, and tells Decepticons what Megatron said.

I think that Decepticon Tiger or what ever (😅) was called "Steeljaw".

Two great candidates are Tyrone Magnus and Liam Neeson. Neeson has the voice of a regal Irish king but also can play a gritty man when he needs to.
