He has the most badass lines in the films, bumble bee comes close by his style of fighting followed by an insult but Optimus just slam dunks those suckers to shrapnel and so he damn well should 😂 They all killed and murdered and hurt people and his family and friends so whey hey let the beast within out

Its amazing how people don't get why optimus struggled at first. They were in a city n so none of them was able to go all out due to the pedestrians being all around them. Other words in the first movie n age of extinction. The decepticons had the advantage n edge over the autobots. But when it came to areas that weren't full of civilians the autobots were the ones who thoroughly kicked ass especially optimus

What are you talking about megatron got so weaker after getting disabled, literally lost his body who he was using for figthing like all of his life, and given a disabled arm and a massive one. If you pay attention his combat style it was like a wrestler and his weakness was swords he specialize in distance and in wrestling, in the 4 movie you can see that he created a mechanism to make up his weakneses, literally destroyed optimus sword at the start of the figth, thats why he maked the thing in his chest to compensate his weakness for swords.

What the others said , Megatron lost some part of his body and got replaced by weak ones , that is the reason why he was weaker after the first movie , but the real reason is that they made every decepticon weak after the first movie , look how Starscream literally destroys in the first movie then he is a little nobody in the next 2 , the director took a different direction and after the first movie in every transformers movie the autobots had the upper hand , even in Transformers Prime the decepticon won more than they lose 1on1 fights which is the accurate representation knowing that they won the war at Cybertron....But somehow they always lose in transformers 2,3,4 and 5 😂 Megatron was the best fighter on Cybertron so him beating Optimus eventho he is a prime makes perfect sense , Sentinel also beat Optimus eventho he didn't have the matrix of leadership anymore so a prime doesn't automatically become a good fighter

i actually love how the transformers adapt their movements depending of what they need in a fight, they don't come with their jiu jitsu, karate or tae kwondo fight style, they just fight in a way it suits them, and that's why sometimes their movements looks stupid and simple, but are actually brutal if a hit or shoot lands on the enemy, and they also don't go for weak points to weak their enemy, they always go for the kill, so a punch through the chest, a face cut in half, losing arms, your head being blown, losing a leg like ratchet, you not gonna find that amount of brutality in a movie with humans, maybe some scenes with arms and leg cuts but they just show a lot of blood and nothing else.

2:01 and 16:51 are two of the best shot moments in cinema history. They’re so mesmerizing to watch because of the sound and pace

I don't care what anyone says about Michael bay or his version of Transformers, I love it.

Let's just stop and think for a few seconds. Is there actually anyone better for directing Transformers? No. Sure the stories aren't that great, and no we don't care about the human side of things. But when it comes to the robot action, nobody can top Michael Bay. With all that he does in the action scenes, he is the best choice for directing these movies. Hate on it if you want, that's just my opinion. Edit: This comment I made 8 years ago when I was 15 for some reason is getting so much attention. I was really defending my favorite film franchise without accepting its flaws. "Hate on it if you want, that's just my opinion" I would punch 15 year old me if I could.

I completely agree, there could have been far worse attempts and adaptations into making a Transformers movie, and although Michael Bay isn't the ideal director for any type of film with substance, he does what the franchise is supposed to be about, robots fighting robots. People go into certain films expecting way too much, I mean do you really go into films like these expecting an emotional pull from the Autobots? or be moved by Megatron's actions into controlling the human race? No. Stop complaining for films that are giving you as much as they're advertising, and enjoy the film.

Seeing prime come in to battle during that movie never gets old to me

I wanna see a prequel film about the war on Cybertron. No humans, just Transformers fighting the war that devastated Cybertron.

People keep saying this, but a movie like that would require a huge budget. CGI is expensive. I would friggin love a movie on Cybertron, but it just can't happen. But the Cybertron video games are very fulfilling.

PFM719 an all CGI is possible. Look at all the stupid movies like "Walking With Dinosaurs." Sure it'd be expensive to make but they'd make a lot of money off of it. Look at how bad these Transformers films are, but in spite of that they still make a ton of money.

YES! This guy gets it. We maybe able to see it actually because at the end of the forth one Optimus is seen flying to what I think and hope is Cybertron. If I see Mark Wahlberg taking a rocket to Cybertron, or any human, I'm gonna flip my shit.

Damn pretty good fighting compilation, I wish it wasn't so out of order, but it was still pretty good! I can't wait for the next Transformers movie!

Honestly even though the movies are terrible the action scenes are almost always good.

Love all the movies! After having four girls I was ready for some serious action movies!! My son grew up with these movies.

"Pull over" is somehow one of the best out of context lines and scenes for these movies

I gotta be honest, Brawl might be one of the toughest Decepticons the Autobots have ever fought. Simply put, he is literally a tank, built to take a lot of hits, while dishing a lot back. It took nearly the entire Autobot cast of 2007 to bring him down. The Decepticons later were disappointing, but then when we had Devastator, I was like, "This one may fight the autobots". But no, instead he was used to destroy the pyramid of Giza before being shot by a railgun. And I had to ask, what happened to the railgun and why didn't they built more of or at least similar to it?

Transforming in this movie never gets old. You can watch one transforming scene for hours to watch as each piece goes to its destination in bot form

Through action, a Man becomes a Hero Through death, a Hero becomes a Legend Through time, a Legend becomes a Myth And by learning from the Myth, a Man takes action

Well marvel doesn't have that much of great fighting scenes yes it has moments but not fighting sequences where is intense that are memorable.. To me is just winter soldier's freeway fight and civil war's airport fight/black panther's moments. Let's not forget of The best marvel fight scene "Spiderman's 2 train fight scene" Other than that transformers has remarkable scenes like the forest fight. I still love marvel though. Dc ofc has batman from ben affleck which i love his fighting style against the bad guys (the fight with superman was boring and he didn't participate at all vs doomsday)

Especially since in 2007 they pulled off making cars and planes turn into robots and back again, and have them beat the shit out of each other. The whole time it looks super real, that's impressive

Thanks for the clips, I hate when movies does godlike action in the background but the camera focuses on some human screaming or taking cover.

It's amazing to think that the older Transformers movies CGI still holds up to today

stella park yeah he does. In Transformers 2, during the battle of Egypt, one of the Arcee's sister, an Autobot who finds Sam and Mikaela and says to them that they will carry them to Optimus, who dies because a shoot. That shoot was of Starscream.

That's the thing, the characters who the writers class as 'unimportant' the characters like Jazz, Starscream and the other background Autobots and Decepticons are given barely any lines, barely any screen time and are killed of without any chance at character development. If someone says sideswipe was there favourite I don't get how, I mean his design was cool but he got given barely any screen time. If I were making these movies then I would forget the humans and give the transformers actual character

The fact that Optimus’ systems adapted to the upgrades even though he isn’t a flying vehicle is dope af. He showed no signs of difficulty as a flier.
