As I’m intensely watching… I thought how many 40-50 year old men are watching this reliving childhood dreams we couldn’t afford. 😂

I got two of them. I got one for me and one for my autistic brother. 😅 It's always fun to see him playing like a little kid with them all over the house. I got him more transformers for Christmas. He is going to have a time of his life. 😅😅😅

When I first started collecting vintage G1 I was only interested in 84-85 but now I'm wanting the 86 and some from 87. I love the big one's like this and the combiners also.

Metroplex is like wow nice kitty when the cat look at him.

Been wanting to get one but now I’m not so sure. $80 would be a less bitter pill to swallow.

You popped into my feed with this video. I like your review style so I subbed. Been thinking of grabbing this KO to display and play with when my Grandson comes over and keep my Encore and original boxed ones safe from little hands.

My favorite of the "base" transformers. I saved up for months to get him and it was very satisfying to pick him up from layaway back in the day. I wasn't disappointed. Interesting note, the only part that broke on me was that little scamper gun that was missing from this one you showed. Maybe the KO company thought it was too fragile a design for the platic they are using?

I recently got this Metroplex as well. Never had this as a kid. Too expensive then. I never talk to my Transformers but occasionally to my cat. Although I never tried to transform it.

I Love this channel

I snagged this too. Not bad, but like this vid points out, scampers gun was absent. Also my scamper came with two left arms, and sixgun's white chest plate was poorly moulded. Ultimately worth getting if you're wanting to fill out a G1 collection.

build quality of these KO G1 toys are really spotty, i have a KO defensor set of 5, the blue fire engine truck came with a blown wheel, but since it was packed in a box, there was no way to tell.

Wow, this one is worse than I would have expected. What is up with most of his body being gray in color? Not worth $130 at all....not at all.

Always wanted this, now i can get the ko lol

Speaking of the Titan Metroplex, I literally got mine which is the SDCC version loose but complete and un-applied stickers(can't find the sticker sheet at the moment since moving) for like $100. I am so mad the guy threw away his box but for $100, I can't go wrong with it.

Looks awesome, although a little on the gray side.

Yeah, I wasn't super happy about that part. But most vintage stuff is that color or worse. LOL

I think i may have to break down and grab this, either this or tiger wing menasor.

I still have my original Metroplex and mine is white plastic, not grey.

I sold my original G1 years ago. Nice to replace it. As for TFCon... not sure. Have to see what the situation is once it gets closer.

About the back art .. mine is an original 86’ with rubber tires & season 3 box art, BUT.. I did buy mine in Canada

The vehicle launcher is more made for bots like first aid since they are designed to attach with those kinds of combiners (predaking, devastator and simular excluded)

I have that love it we spoke about that I got windcharger and wheely and huffer and pipes today reissue knock off from China lol there great

Is the reissue grey body? i remember my mom getting me this but it had a white body

I just ordered a metrotitan reissue of this mold. Shame they had a chance to do a metrotitan repaint of titan metroplex too.

Do you think KO's or Third party figures will go up in value, or should I just spend more for vintage?

Third party? Yes. Doubtful on KOs unless they are unique and stop getting produced.

I just bought one.... I have no idea what it is? A reissue or a knock off of the reissue... how do you tell? when did they do these? Also got Omega at the same time... I want normal 2008 reissue...

this makes me sad. real G1 stuff was all about hiding in plain sight. and when you transform them into their robot form, you don't need to add 68 pieces to fill it out. really means more to lose. i know almost all bots had fists/wings/bits but they really worked hard back then to make them look as good as possible in Alt form. (robot form that's another story... )

I had metroplex with the car launcher you had to reach inside and push the lever as far back as you can then put a car in and push or pull the switch to launch the car😎

It's very difficult once it's out of the package. If it includes a second gun for Sixgun, that's an indicator. Otherwise, can't really tell.

I often wonder why they have done knock offs of so many popular figs and even less popular ones...but why have they never done a knock off G1 Jetfire?? It would sell like crazy!

Likely because they got the molds from Takara, and Jetfire wasn't a Takara product.

It's a lot of money for a knock off/counterfeit that has issues. Also the plastic looks darker than my Metroplex from the 1980's.

Well, if you can find a Metroplex Titan for 150 or 200, then absolutely. But generally, they are a bit more than that.

Original Fort Max is 22 inches tall, so a good foot or so taller than this guy.

Lol, as A kid I had all the aerobots.. but no metroplex and always had wanted to have the full deal But no internet in those days, to show me how stupid metroplex look with the added aerobots

Metroplex is as big and chunky as you. So you both must be closely related.

the toy was issued by Takara-Tomy/Hasbro, so it's not a knockoff. They just brought the mold out of mothballs refurbished, and reused it.

Funny how you always say find this in good shape. Dude you ever heard of vintage toy shops. I can easily find an original G1 figure in great shape. Stop promoting like they don't exist.
