4:10 " that's what really sells it in the end." He's damn right. It's all of that reflection from the environment that make it so incredibly realistic. ILM does mind-blowing work!

Its really amazing to watch the transformers move, transform and just be there. So much incredible work behind making this look so real. I for one really like his work.

The only complaint I have about the special effects is that the audio doesn't sound like it's in the same environment sometimes. I noticed this a lot with the speaking voice of the robot characters but also just the noise of the transformations don't sound like they're in the same environment.

One, I'm sure they're getting credit if they post behind the scenes of who does what. two, that's why they have credits, three, Credit doesn't really matter when you're paid thousands of dollars.

I'm an amateur animator and just watching this gives me a headache.... I mean really? 60,000 car parts, 10,000 different objects, advanced shaders using 10 year old tech, and a grand total of 895 years rendering time (assuming 35 hrs per frame at 145 min runtime).

They probably had lots of computers to render the shots. And remember not every frame has a robot in it.

Thats the downside of being an editor. It's fun though and I don't think any of us would change what we do for anything.

Imagine being the actors. How boring. Youre not really interacting with anything. Like all the emotion is gone.
