What helps you feel loved, seen, heard, and encouraged? I sit down with BC Serna who is on a mission to lean into each other’s stories so we can find more compassion in each other through the way they view the world. We open up a heart centered conversation and touch on delicate subjects including healing from trauma, spirituality and beliefs, and transforming your pain into purpose to start a revival both individually and collectively.
BC is an online creator who inspires many in growth mindset and life development. He’s the founder of Pursuing Purpose, a collection of retreats and online programs helping to heal your heart, reveal your purpose, and discover your tribe.
In this episode we cover:
* How jealousy, egos and divisiveness threads into our trauma and reactions
* The difference between a growth mindset vs fix mindset
* Unresolved hurts or trauma that reflects our pain & emotions
* Where our triggers come from
* community and spirituality
* leaning into curiosity and challenging yourself
* How divisiveness and labels limit our understanding of each other and creates unnecessary black and whites
* embracing the gray and nuance
* Identifying why you’re anxious and hurting and turning that into helping others
* healing your heart to transform your trauma from pain into purpose and helping others
* tuning into quietness and truly listening to others
* Where real confidence comes from and what it looks like to build trust with people

    Love this!! Halfway through. Thank you for interviewing a christian. So refreshing to hear the name of Jesus from a guest in your show. Great subject. I wish there were links to all of these studies that were mentioned

    Take time to heal from a breakup! Rushing into a relationship will only lead to more pain and heartache because you may not be ready yet. Healing is a process! Processing those emotions, doing your shadow work and falling in love with yourself again, will take you one step closer to attracting a healthy relationship that you deserve. 💙KZreadr That Helps People Overcome Toxic Relationships

    This was probably my favorite episode so far. Every single topic they touched i could have listened for hours. Being kind and loving is so uncommon these days, that most people prefer to stay harsh, make it seem like they have it all together and not do the work on themselves. I sometimes take the time to compliment pople aroung me, but never for something they wear or how they look - and even if i write a mail to thank the local autorities for something which is part of their job, some people are nearly making fun of it. What a poor world they live in… Thanks again for being different - we all need a nice reminder sometimes to stay brave and true to ourselfes 😉

    I wish I could have a relationship with my sister, but what do you do when someone's trying to get you to leave other family members and just won't let up? There is no simple conversation without her bringing up how she was wronged (both sides offended the other but don't see the others' side)
