@@hepsysarah2114 No! it will never logged out automatically. As you can use your Whatsapp from your old phon without SIM card through Wifi only. If you have any confusion about the process then fist backup your all WhatsApp data and try every steps.

Sometimes instead of SMS your verification code is shown on an old device and immediately after that the old device displays the message that whatsapp is no longer registered so you cannot go to settings to transfer chat history.

You have to keep this transfer screen open on the old phone before installing and opening WhatsApp on the new phone. Then follow the steps on the new phone.

I have a question please answer sir. Problem: 1. I want to do it like vice versa, my old phone had important data... but my old phone is wrecked never had a chance to back it up, so I use a new phone with a same number of registered account and Gmail, then new Whatsapp continueing to new phone. 2. Then now my old wrecked phone got fixed, now I want my to transfer Whatsapp message from new phone to old phone. Question : 1. Will it replaces the old chats in the old phone by new chats in the new phone (if i transfer the new chats from new phone to old).

While transferring you can hold your SIM card on old phone. then after transfer you can exchange sim. But you need to verify number from your old phone.

Just to clear the confusion for people who see this, from 1% to 50% the phone is setting up the transfer to start the actual transfer so thats why it goes fast, and from 51% to 100% the actual transferring is going on and it will be slow or fast depending on your internet speed.

Which phone has the sim card in? Cause as soon as I want to one says connect to internet even if both is connected to wifi. Also doesn't recognize that old phone transfer
