Just to let anyone know, this is the best method only in case to someone who are fed up with android & want to buy an iPhone because of privacy reasons but still cannot leave whatsapp for many reasons including family contacting & business.

After installing whatsapp while logging it was not geeting move chat to ios option please help me

Great video, thank you! I was finally able to bring my chat history from android to iPhone however for some reason a few of my contact's chat history did not come over. So all my contacts moved over but for a few of my contacts the chat history did not come over. I still see that chat history for the few contacts on my android. Should I uninstall whatsapp on the iPhone, reinstall and the redo what I did hoping the second time the chat history of all my contacts will come over?

when did i need to put sim card in my iphone? after all done or before i press complete?

After it worked. Remember you need to connect the both phones to same WiFi

THANKS, with the first method was able to bring all whatsapp on iphone (by the scan qr code option). but will it still be ok to continue as only want to use iphone now, no more android. will i be able to log out from android?

PreciousLoveDove Bro, In that case you need use the second method. Because first method only give you secondary access, many functions don’t work with it, and it will automatically be logged out after sometimes.☺️

My trasfer fails on the point of 6 digit confirmation code. That one never comes. I keep teh SIM in the old android thoigh. I tried to alternative by Call back. but the robot tels if you want to recieve teh code press 5, I follow and that call ends. Any thoughts please?

I'm using WhatsApp business on Android but can't find the WhatsApp option while selecting what to transfer. Help. Also only 30gb of data I tried to transfer using move to iOS but it took 6hours to reach about 40% but after watching videos on KZread I noticed I didn't receive WhatsApp option so I cancelled it. Again tried it but don't see any WhatsApp option

Update to latest version ios. This was the solution suggested by Apple support when I queried for same issue. After update do a factory reset and try move to ios app again. Then the whatsapp option opens up

I have fixed this same 40% failing issue. But not sure if this is actually a work around. As many have mentioned, faced the same issue of failing after 40% restore. Tried retry multiple times and no use. Out of frustration came out of whatsapp and after a minute or two opened again just to see if it still asks to retry or skip transfer. To my surprise it asked should the transfer start like how I started initially. This time the restore worked successfully. Hope this is helpful

I faced the same issue that it stops at 40%. And I decide to log out the Apple ID account in the new iphone, try the transfer process again and it works. See you can solve it with the same way

During the chat transfer there's an error showing up at 40% and an error “Something went wrong" appears prompting me either Retry or Skip Import. When i proceed to "Retry" the same error “Something went wrong" appears. I don't know what's the reason - could it be cos I did not back up my photos during the initial transfer of files cos I did not select that. Please help.

Does this method automatically download all the apos on the android onto the iphone as well? Will this also transfer all photos and videoes frommgallery into the iphone ?

jehangirshaw Bro, The method transfers WhatsApp chats, voice messages, photos, and videos within the conversations to the iPhone. It does not automatically transfer apps from your Android device to the iPhone. You need to download WhatsApp on your iPhone. And if you want to transfer your gallery’s photos and videos we have a separate video about that.☺️

yaranoureldeen8223 Bro, If your account is a business account, the showing process will not work for you. But if it is your personal account, then make sure to back up all your data properly, including media files on the cloud, otherwise this process won’t work.☺️

felix27080 Bro, You just need to make sure you can receive the code on your Number from Android or iPhone when you set it up. Otherwise it won’t matter when you change your SIM. 😊

@@Fix.369 - same probleme here with my new iphone 15 pro max: when I transfer WhatsApp to iPhone from Android via Move to ISO application, the data transfer begin and completed but once the application Whatsapp is downloaded on the iphone, the chat history start moving from andoid but the process is stopped at 40% - and the error message appears .. Could you please help ?

@@lilporsnosh2369 Hey buddy. You have to leave it for something like almost a whole day. I left it and it decreased in time after a while. Hope this helps. Edit: Better do it while asleep. Put both phones in charger. Leave the android phone screen on all the time, and leave them be.
