From 1 Samsung to another, I just signed in on the new device and it restored my chats and media from backup data. It also immediately auto signed out the old phone. Will this not work from an android to a iPhone?

The first method erases all iPhone data. But it transfers all WhatsApp data including voice messages, photos videos etc

It doesn't matter the sim in whichever phone. You will receive the verification code from Whatsapp on whichever phone the sim is in

It's not mandatory to take out the sim card from Android phone. If you put the sim on iphone, you don't have to type the verification code sent to your phone. I hope you understand. Again it's not mandatory do whatever makes you happy

It wont be shown in your messages you have to erase your iphone and set it up again there you’ll be able to see the code

I have been using normal WhatsApp for business purpose and now I want to convert into business whatsapp and also I want to transfer normal WhatsApp data to iPhone which is 15gb..in apple store they said that its not possible to transfer 15gb, only upto 2gb it's possible... When you get this error, restart your iphone and reopen whatsapp. It will not show again

I have fixed this same 40% failing issue. But not sure if this is actually a work around. As many have mentioned, faced the same issue of failing after 40% restore. Tried retry multiple times and no use. Out of frustration came out of whatsapp and after a minute or two opened again just to see if it still asks to retry or skip transfer. To my surprise it asked should the transfer start like how I started initially. This time the restore worked successfully. Hope this is helpful
