Several videos ago, the rusted-out, bondo'd, dented gouge in the back upper edge was "one more thing I have to fix"... Now cutting out the floor of the (also very rusted) steps lol. You're amazing 😊 Guess nothing is a problem when you know how to do literally everything lol. I can't believe how great each new section comes out. Amazing job. Incredibly impressive. 😊👌😎

Very nice work as always! I have a concern about seeing out that door. When I do my bus I thought about covering that door and still have a window at the top and maybe a small semi truck window at the bottom. I even thought about moving the bus door in the middle kinda like a traditional RV has but that would take up valuable space in that area. I may just leave the door there but build a one piece door kind like a MCI has. Keep us updated Mudda!

Yeah....this is just temporary, I'm replacing the existing window with clear glass and adding another long narrow window to the lower section of the door.

you do some incredibly good work, did or do you have a job that taught you these skills, I was an aircraft mechanic myself for 20 years and i was never one to shy away from taking a different path than others (thinking out of the box), you do a lot of that
@TranscendExistence1111
7 жыл бұрын
Thanks...Yes, I've done a lot of sheetmetal and heavy structure work on aircraft as well as fabrication and body work on custom cars and hot rods. I'm very thankful for the knowledge attained in those fields as it has been very helpful in this conversion.

So I've been looking at skoolie videos for a while now. Many of them are pretty cheaply done. Poor video and editing skills to boot. I always wonder why the do it the way they do. You are doing exactly like I was planning right down to the LED light bar up front, only I would like to incorporate it into a retro visor. I like the workshop in the back too. This will be my full time residence for at least 10 years of traveling. I'll watch your build with great interest.
