EXCELLENT stuff man!! When you engage that time lapse, your artistry REALLY shines. Methodical and precise. IT TRULY is a joy to be inspired by you and your adherence to recycling as much as possible to keep costs down. Right on man!!!

Wow, what a great compliment....Thank you so much!! I'm super excited to get to the interior buildup....I will be reusing all sorts of cool things in that area. I'm all about reusing cool old stuff. Maybe I'll do a short video of a couple items I made for the interior.

"Bucking the rivets". So is this like the old variety of pneumatic hot iron rivets ? We intend to use countersunk, blind 'pop-rivets' to give a smooth finish. Your original riveted school bus appears to use that construction, whereas our European coaches use smooth panel finishes with a 1-mm thick bridging plate. Yours looks like a lot less work, ours will take forever...

it looks like you are using an air riveter..do you have a list in your heads of some tools one will need to do something similar to this?

Can I ask which brand is the gun and the size of the solid rivets?

It's a little too late since I already bought it but is a 4x rivet gun big enough for 1/4 steel rivets? GoPro and editing help but what kind of drill is it you were using? Looked quick.

What sealant are you using? I assume an automotive sealant? Any recommendations on a good brand?

Just out of curiousity, could you have welded instead of rivoting? Rivoting job, btw.

Too bad there's not a ramset-type pop rivet gun that shoots the rivets thru the metal instead of having to drill the holes first and then rivet

Love all your work brotha. Can you tell me the size of the rivets you used on the skins? I’m doing a conversion and trying to source the correct rivets for the job. Same bus as well. Happy trails and hope to see you out on the road.

Dominic Greco Thanks so much. Mainly 3/16dia x 3/8grip and 1/2 grip in the areas where the hat channel is concerned. Grab som 1/4dia with same grip length as above for some of the holes that might get oversized while drilling them out.

Transcend Existence one more question. What type of drill bit did you use? I’ve so far broken everything I’ve tried. Thanks again.
