TransBucegi and Pestera Ialomitei Cave full walk

TransBucegi, one of the most scenic drives in Romania
TransBucegi is one of the most scenic drives in Romania. It’s located in the south-central part of the country, going through the Bucegi Natural Park. Along the road you will feel the need for higher elevation, even fresher air and sweeping landscapes you can soak in some of Romania's most breathtaking vistas without even leaving your car. It’s one of the famous Romanian high altitude roads.
The road, officially designed as DJ713, is asphalted. It links Sinaia and the Bucegi Mountains Plateau. The road was officially inaugurated on August 31, 2013. Situated at the foot of Laptici Mountains, it’s the third high altitude road in Romania, after Transfăgărăşan and Transalpina, and reaches an altitude of 1.925m (6,315ft). The construction of the road begun in 2010.
The road, also called Drumul Babelor, encompasses miles of stunning views through twisty hair pin corners, high elevations and steep grades. It’s a cul-de-sac road which will lead you to Bucegi Natural Park, a land which provides colorful flower and foliage displays as well as numerous hiking trails, that will lead you straight into the heart of nature. Known as The Old Ladies Road, it is a narrow, sinuous road close to The Old Ladies and The Sphinx - famous Romanian rock formations shaped by the wind. The journey is filled with road bends and hairpin curves, unveiling amazing views over the mountains.
This road is very exciting and sometimes very exposed and unsecured driveway in innumerable twists and turns. This infamous road is tightly hairpinned and bumped, ranges in elevation from 2,495 feet at Sinaia to almost 6,316 feet at Bucegi National Park. The road is 20 km long (17 of them tarmac), filled with bends and hairpin curves, unveiling amazing views over the mountains. The rest of 3 km is protected area and therefore off limits to riders or drivers. It is open all year round (weather permitting).

The little chapel at the entrance stands like a guard outside. The shape of the cliffs and the sound of the water will bring you close to nature. Manoeuvring your path inside the cave, you can make your way up to the top that is known as the bear cave. Safe metallic pathway brightly illuminated with LEDs will make your way up there comfortable and safe through the rough terrains. Ne znam, pretpostavljam oko 6-7, s obzirom da je vani bilo dosta vruče, osjeti se jako temperaturna razlika.
