Col de l'Iseran s visinom od 2.764 m je najviši asfaltirani alpski prijevoj. Tako kažu neki izvori, neki kažu da nije, da ima jedan iznad 2800 i isto je u Francuskoj. No, bio najviši ili ne, visok je i to se lijepo osjeti. Pristupali smo mu s južne strane i mislim da smo pogodili. Doduše, na samom vrhu visina prijevoja nije toliko „očita“ a uspon je polagan i relativno dugačak. Nema previše litica pa izostaje osjećaj visine. Jako je zabavan za vožnju i nezaobilazni je dio bilo kakvog putovanja alpskim prijevojima. Silaskom na sjevernu stranu završava u poznatom Francuskom skijalištu Val-d'Isère. Ovo je ujedno i posljednji francuski prijevoj „sličnog opisa“ koji smo posjetili. Nakon njega krenuli smo prema Švicarskoj. Vidjeli smo još puno toga lijepoga, ali prijevoji iz posljednja 4 videa ostati će u posebnom sjećanju, a biti će posjećeni, ako sve bude kako planiramo, već slijedeće godine.

It doesn't matter whether he's the tallest or not, he's tall, and you can feel that. We approached it from the south side and I think we hit it. Admittedly, the height of the pass is not so "obvious" at the top, and the ascent is slow and relatively long. Because there aren't many cliffs, there isn't a sense of height. It's a lot of fun to drive and is an essential part of any trip through the alpine passes. Descending to the north, it ends in the famous French ski resort of Val-d'Isère. This is also the last French pass of a "similar description" that we visited. After him, we headed for Switzerland. We saw a lot of beautiful things, but the passes from the last 4 videos will remain in our special memory, and will be visited, if everything goes as planned, already next year.
