I listen to this song year round. It brings out something within me. Reminiscent of days gone and the future ahead. The last Christmas I had with my Dad we’re driving home and we were talking about when he passes I didn’t like talking about It because I hoped It wouldn’t be for awhile. I told him “Dad when you pass I will never be the same.” And he told me “I know.” So when we stopped talking this song came on In the car and he said he likes this song. So every time I hear this song I think of that Christmas Eve night.

Wow that was powerful. My parent's are gone too. They both loved Christmas. You brought tears I forgot I had.

December of 2011, my wife was very pregnant with our first (and only) child. When her water broke in the early morning hours of the 26th, we drove to the hospital full of excitement and anticipation. As we did, this song played on two different stations during that drive. As we awaited the arrival of our miracle boy, I heard it several more times from the maternity ward nursing stations. I now call this Daniel's song because it immediately takes me back to the greatest day of my life. Becoming a Dad is the greatest gift I'll ever receive.

Cool you say that because I read a book once about a woman who says she had a near death experience. She died and came back to life. While she was on the other side, she recalls hearing music. After that, she said for years she listened to music to find something that sounded similar, and she said the only song that comes close is Pachelbel Canon in D.

He did 313 years ago. They said this piece was written by him around 1684, making this composition 335 years old. It’s fitting that lots of people who are in difficult times are liking this, because Pachebel himself had those things. He lost his wife and son to the plague. He knew what that felt like. That’s why I think if he was alive and hear about some of the people just like him that it has touched he would be so proud :)

My grandmother passed on my grandfather’s b-day on 3/20, two years ago. She’s diabetic and has lymphoma, been through chemo therapy.

This is one of the best christmas song i EVER heard hands down. and i even heard it on the radio a few times. I recommend this song to everyone that loves christmas! NEVER TAKE THIS SONG OFF THE RADIO!

This song always reminds my dad of his brother who died because of his drug addiction. I only saw my uncle a few times since he was mostly away from us in his life, but I did stay at his beach house for the weekend one time. Me and dad will always think of those memories cause of this song

this reminds me of my grandparents and their home around Christmas time, my grandpa passed in 2011 and my grandma in 2020, they loved Christmas, such a beautiful tune, miss them so much

I was small and helping my mom with the Christmas Tree when I heard this song playing. When we finished, we lit the candles and turned off the lights and stayed there till it was bedtime to watch the lights shining in the living room. It was a happy memory.

Last year my family experienced our first Christmas without my Grandma and I almost cried listening to this. But here we are about a year later, November 1st, 2022, I cried a little at 0:30 because I realized that this year will be our first Christmas without both of my Grandparents because my Grandpa passed on Labor Day this year and... I dread not being able to go to their house at all this year. It was hard enough last year because my Grandma was gone and my Grandpa's alzheimers had gotten really bad (he still knew who we were thankfully). I also cried at 1:45 because I was thinking about all of hose times my brother and I would spend the night at their house, set up the Christmas tree, make Christmas cookies with Grandma, watch Christmas movies, etc. I cried because all of those things will never happen again and that warm, cozy, Grandparent love vibe is gone, and I have to experience Christmas without any of it at all.

This song will never fail to make me cry. It always reminds me of my father since this was once of his favorite Christmas songs. He is still alive, but since he lives in New York City and did on and off during my childhood and life, whenever I heard this, especially around Christmas time, I would cry and think of him and miss him. Such a beautiful yet nostalgic song. I would love to learn how to play this on the piano and violin.

The first time I heard this song, I was a little girl in the car with my mom and she was playing a CD with this band. I remember saying to her, "Mommy, when I get married, I want this song to play as I walk down the aisle." She laughed and said, "You do what makes you happy, my love." Now, more than 10 years later, this song is still one of my favorites, especially around the holidays.

nobody really cares, but this song is my earliest memory, the first song I ever remember. This song, along with some other Christmas songs, gives me flashbacks of my childhood memories. It reminds me of the days when I was happy, naive, and full of life. It reminds me of when I would wake up early in the morning and run down to the Christmas tree every Christmas morning, expecting many presents from Santa Claus since I used to think he was real. My early childhood years were some of the best years of my life, even though I'm only sixteen years old. I hope you all have wonderful Christmases forever and ever! God bless you all!

This song is very beautiful to me because when I first heard this song my mom told me about it when I was 12 years old and showed me the music video and I swear I actually teared up because of how the orchestra sounded with the kids singing. My mom told me that to her it sounded like angels singing and loves the violins in this song. I love the kids' voices too I think they very touching voices and so do the violins. The meaning is very emotional and that's why I think it touches people's hearts.
