Very biblically, accurately, and lovingly clarified. Thank you for sharing the Truth. I wish more would go about things this way.

I support the view of transgenders as unnatural but I wonder, how would the church go about a transgender trying to be part of the Orthodox Church? Would they have to undergo a de- transition in order to be part of the church? Would they be politely asked to leave the church if they didn’t choose to go back to their assigned gender at birth? Once again good video.

Sam: It is the mission of the Church, the Body of Christ, to bring the reality of the Incarnate Lord Jesus to every person on the planet, to show who they really are as God created them to be and for what purpose that creation took place. A transgender is NOT who/what God made them to be, but a willful choice of pride, confusion, and willful disregard of God's image and likeness. That said, such a person needs to first encounter Christ, not a de-transition. If the Church (through the parish) is to reach them, they need to hear about and learn how to meet the crucified Lord of Glory, and come to understand how they relate to that Lord, or can relate. IOW, they need to hear the gospel, they need to meet the Risen Lord, they need to learn their identify is in the Lord, not in their sexual delusion. Would they be politely asked to leave? Not if they really wanted to learn. But they cannot STAY as they are when it's obvious that they are trying to create themselves in their own image and likeness, and do wish to be conformed to God's image in them.

One cannot change his or her gender, so asking to change it back is pointless. Dressing like the opposite gender is generally a no-no. I don't see why anyone would be asked to leave unless he or she causes a scandal. I usually can't recognize a sloppy male cross-dresser from an unfortunately ugly woman; and it would be not merely bad, but also prohibited by a canon on pains of excommunication to taunt the latter.
