Thank you for your review being half Austrian I would love to get this game not sure my laptop is strong enough though, I think what was happening at the beginning was you was looking directly in to the sun

They have said it would get a free additional line at some point. Yeah, I find lighting can be a bit off in places, but a lot of it do with UE4.

Thanks for your review. I would like to comment on what you said about the engine. I'm really NOT a fan of the Unreal Engine 4. Let me clarify; it has very strong pros, but also very bad cons. UE4 is a good engine for dramatic lighting. It's good for sci-fi, action, etc.. Whenever I see it implemented in these "simulator" games, I find it really falls short. It has incredible potential for textures, but the post-processing and lighting effects are pretty bad. One of the biggest flaws I've noticed with this engine un mamy games that use it; there is often this really horrible trail effect to objects in movement. That is regardless of having an option of Motion Blur being enabled or disabled. It's something I've noticed alot in games like Train Sim World (even when forcing Motion Blur OFF), Bus Sim. 18, Fernbus/Tourist Bus Sim., etc... Lighting is often way too dramatic as well. Shadows are extreme, bloom washes everything out way too much. It isn't really the effect or "look" I want in a simulator. I think many devs go for it because it's cheap, easy to use and it makes for stunningly dramatic screenshots. Most don't seem to be able to optimize it correctly, so it tanks even on high-end software, especially when it comes to small indie or simulation dev teams. Anyways, I'm keeping my eye out on this game, but I'll wait a bit.

Hi thanks for all the info on the UE4, quite insightful. I know others too have highlighted some of the drawbacks of the engine. Yeah currently the game doesn't offer a lot of repayablity so you are probably better fo with your plan on holding off for now

Do you think the current game is worth it? It hasn't been updated for 7 months. Though keys are available for €10.00?

For 10 euro definitely. Developers currently focusing on CityDriver so might be a while till it progresses

Has an extra route and 2 trams, depot is a seperate dlc which is not great tbh. They are also making a Munich one as a seperate game, so seems like map dlcs will be seperate games in a way as well as integrated into one launcher. The current game doesn't have much replayabilty on its own, but dynamic weather is meant to be included in the new update and apparently a new line too.

I got it it's actually enjoyable keeps you playing for sure, optimization could be better though but really good ima give it a 7 out of 10.

I agree, it is a realistic and fun game. Optimisation is definitely needed as it is veey laggy.

@@TransportEnthusiast Also agreed sometimes I get crash lag I have a amd ryzen 3 32000g a gpu radeon 50rx and 8gb of ram and a ddr4 motherboard but the game is still early.

@@justagamer2797 That is true, I think Early access would have been a better name. Nonetheless, I look forward to the new E2 tram that will be added soom, nice to have some older tram models. Finally we have a proper tram simulator too, Omsi 2 as a Tram Sim was pushing it a bit.

@@TransportEnthusiast agreed I never knew how omsi worked the omsi bus1 the controls were weird but you could change them but the other stuff was confusing with this the controls were weird but thank god for changing them but this game is much easier for me aersoft really took their time with this I think also these so called advanced ai nees tweaking abit it's like they cant make up their mind.

@@justagamer2797 Not sure I agree Aerosoft took their time with it, to me it seems very rushed. I agree Omsi 2 controls are very annoying to set up, as there are so many and then some have duplicates that depending on the bus you use may or may not work.

Im going to get it. Its Areosoft they make a320s! they will make this gold

It is a good tramsim, new tram will be added soon, main issue is the price if one buys it from Steam or Aerosoft.

I think Aerosoft is the publisher not the developer.
