  GT8s were practically everywhere in West Germany until the mid 2000s. The Pendel-version was rare though, because most cities have turning loops. I looked up some pictures of line 23 in Sofia, and I'm rather sure the Pendel GT8s are from Bonn: kzread.info/dash/bejne/e5mh2c2KZtLLc9o.htmlfeature=shared&t=425 Bonn has two tram networks, one for the city, and another long distance one connecting to other towns. That's a common thing here. The Pendels are from the long-distance lines (today's lines 66, 67 & 68). In 1993, they were replaced by the somewhat more modern Düwag B-Wagen ("B-type car", the greenish ones in the video), which still runs today. The shorter trams you see in the video are Düwag GT6 (6 axles), from the city network. In Bonn they still have one of those Pendel GT8s. In 1993, they put one in a tunnel, forgot about it, and then rediscovered it a few years back when doing track maintenance. From what I hear, it still works. :)

  ​@@TransportEnthusiast Yes... the B-Wagens still run. They even got completely modernized a years ago. Bonn and Cologne did that as an experiment, and because it worked well, other cities started doing it too. Fun fact: The A-Wagen was planned as a subway car, when in the 1970s the cities in my area had the idea to connect all their tram networks into a huge metro network. They ran out of money after a few years, ending up with a weird subway-tram-hybrid network. The B-Wagen then was designed specifically for that situation.

  The story of OMSI really is quite tragic. Just imagine how good it could be today if the devs + publisher didn't have that fallout. Would undoubtly be one of the best simulators of all time. Even with the constant crashes, shitty graphics, poor framerates, etc. It still manages to be lightyears ahead of anything else in the bus sim genre.

  Hi, ive tried to download the uk bus packs and some maps from omsiworld and ive done exactly as the tutorial said, ive dragged and dropped them into the omsi directory and it doesnt pop up in the spawn vehicle menu or the map menu, ive tried loading without buses and ive restarted it multiple times, ive also tried deleting the mods and redownloading and it still doesnt work, Can you help please? Would be really appreciated 👍

  Map you need to load without buses. Buses name might be different to vehicle folder name. Otherwise double check that it is right directory you are pasting to
