Dan really screwed both Phaedra and Parvati. Really unfortunate, but also shows how difficult it is as a traitor to also handle the effects of the other traitors' actions.

@@saturnteatree yes this. Season one provides that. Cody, Cirie and Christian never technically outed one another. Christian and Cody being banished was on them and not the alliance of the traitors is the reason season one was good for the traitors. Parvati and Dan just played a bad game in which makes Phaedra look bad. If Kate or maybe Sandra, John or MJ were traitors with Phaedra from the start no one would suspect Phaedra so early but who knows.🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️🤷🏾‍♂️

@@saturnteatreewatch UK season 2 and see if you change your mind about strategy in this game and how there’s more than 1 way to play within the game. Faithful or Traitor there’s nothing selfish about okaying to win for yourself. It’s a game. You came in alone, and though you may make friends along the way, don’t lose sight of why you’re there. If you came to win you shouldn’t be worried about other people’s games outside of whether or not their game helps or hurts yours.

Yes if she would have killed Mj or Kate. She would have had the numbers to get Peter banished but she wants to show her hands because the Peter pals were on her tail and wasn’t letting go. Sandra’s theory at the pool table could have been her fight against the pals but she was to desperate to get her name in the clear with the pals and that cost her. Her falling for peters plan was the nail in the coffin for her. She was clueless and just like Dan coming for Phaedra was a mistake.

If there are 2 traitors left, it's a recruitment (which means the person being recruited has the option to say no with no consequences). If there is only 1 traitor left, it's a blackmail/ultimatum (which means they have to accept or get murdered). This is nothing new. ALL of the international versions of the show that I've watched have this same rule. It has nothing to do with being fair or not. You simply can't have only 1 traitor in the game when there are so many people left. Think about it - if Phaedra were to get banished at the next round table the game would be over.

Do the confessionals we get ever have the faithful talk about their ACTUAL strategy? I would have loved to hear Sandra say I WANT faithfuls to be banished. Or do they keep up the narrative/act of trying to get the traitors out?

Every single one of Sandra’s confessionals is so clearly chopped at the end, you can just tell from how it always cuts when she sounds like she’s mid sentence. She’s gotta be saying some stuff that doesn’t fit the narrative of the show’s production and I’m guessing she’s outlining her strategy.

The Bravo alliances lack of strategic gameplay (other than Phaedra who has to be strategic as a traitor) is ruining this season for me. I feel like production could straight up tell them Phaedra is a traitor and they still wouldn’t vote for her. It’s Phaedras game to lose at this point. The last few players remaining will be some combo of Phaedra, Kate, CT, and another Bravo person if I had to guess

Why should they take out Phaedra when Parvati is also on offer? Why give their opposition another number and take out the Traitor that might be keeping you alive in the game? MJ, Sherée and Kate have no reason to go for Phaedra here, even if they suspect her. The main problem with The Traitors is that it’s not designed as a social deduction game, it’s a social strategy game so it really doesn’t matter who the Faithful or Traitors are, just who you are and are not aligned with. The Bravo people actually played smart here, it’s players like John who are playing poorly as he doesn’t recognize that he’s playing a numbers game and taking out Parvati is a bad move for him specifically since it bolsters the Bravo side and also gives them the advantage of having a Traitor there that won’t murder them.

My read on Sandra is she is doing the going to end with a traitor she knows strategy, but decided to flip it to Phaedra.

I love how we heard from Sandra less than Dr. Will this episode and you managed to spend 10minutes talking about her.

Oh my goodness that Phaedra makes the show with her facial expressions is priceless. I hope she makes it to the end.

I thought Trischelle was murdered, so with her strong edit now I'm thinking she could be a winner. Recruiting Kate was interesting, I thought she would go with Sandra since there's been foreshadowing of that. So I still could see Phaedra banished soon and Sandra make 1 more traitors recruit. With Phaedra I don't see a way for her to win without traitors on her side. I don't think 2 is enough, that's why messing up that recruitment was very bad. Pete is in trouble, but he can explain everything rationally, say Trischelle wanted to go after Phaedra and he needed Parvati to think she's good because he knew she would murder him.

Kate was a horrible pick for a recruit. Why not pick someone who’s already against you so you can bring them in as a number?

i still cant forgive dan for ruining parvatis game by not believing her about bergie and trying to murder him.....

@@darchocla not necessarily. At this point it’s unpredictable because of the last and final recruit Kate. If Phaedra were to get banished next week. The faithfuls will in fact think there is no traitors left and will throw everyone off with it being the leftovers vs the Peter pals. So next week I doubt Phaedra gets banished. Even if Sandra thinks Phaedra is a traitor why would you want to get another traitor out with 9 other people in the castle and the pot being so low.

Yeah! I mean sometimes there are definitely two traitors duking it out, and it's the survival of who comes out of it unscathed who then moves far into the show

That challenge was disgusting, I'd be out as soon as I saw those bugs or rats. There could be piss. dogshit, broken glass all over those tunnels and I would not have a problem but no way I'm doing fear factor crap, I cannot even watch that show.

I thought it was going to be Phaedra only because they kept saying “well Dan said this” and we all know now that Phaedra still hates Dan in his exit interviews. So I thought she was 100% still upset because Dan did get her voted out.

People give Sandra way too much credit IMO. They think “she won Survivor twice so everything she does is some masterplan.” Her Traitors plan was based entirely on trying to get Peter out of the game. She wasn’t sticking with the traitors. She thought Peter WAS a Traitor. Then at the end of the episode with the torches she realized he isn’t and that changed the plan. Sandra has never been a good reader of people I don’t care how many times she says it. The way she actually played Survivor and the way people remember her playing are two totally different things IMO. I really doubt she has a clue Phaedra is a traitor and if she does now she certainly didn’t before.

No because Kate will be Kate and I’m sure Kate knows Phaedra is a traitor and knows to keep a traitor while taking out some of the faithfuls. Sandra and Kate seem to be playing a good game. If Kate wasn’t being recruited I do feel she would still want to get rid of them loud mouth faithfuls in Trishelle and Peter because getting traitors out at this point is not a smart game if you are a Faithful

There were just too many production decisions that really made me think that the people behind the show wanted Parvati out. 1) the invitation for Peter to become a traitor was interesting - for all other recruitment efforts, it’s either turn or die, but not for this one so Peter got to stay in the game. I can let it go, they’re allowed to shake things up every now and then but then they followed it up with a 2) non banishment at the roundtable which, given Sandra’s plan and their group’s numbers, might have given Parvati some room to shake the target off her back but that didnt happen. And then, on top of that, after an immunity challenge, players were allowed to share their immunity?! Thats just too much shaking things up on one day which cornered one person

I think you are very confused. Recruitments are not always turn or die. It's only turn or die if the traitors are down to 1. If there are 2 traitors left it's a recruitment, which means they have the option to refuse as was the case with Peter. Also, they don't share immunity. If the person who wins the shield chooses not to disclose that they have it, then the traitors have no idea who is exempt from murder so they often play it safe and murder someone that they know for sure doesn't have it. If there is a group of people they aren't sure about, then are are all likely safe because traitors generally prefer not to take a chance on murdering someone who might have a shield - so in a way they are all protected by a shield but that's because of strategic gameplay on their part, not because of production stepping in and saying "you can all share immunity". They are not actually immune. The traitors could murder any of them if they wanted to but because it's a risky move, they usually don't.

I HATED the Dr Will cameo LMAO. How anti climatic, esp since Janelle and Dan were banished. So silly, and not in the camp and fun way. Just cringey haha

So this game is going to come down to team Bravo vs Others. The others seem to be fracturing, I could see Pheadrea in the end game being voted out by a few clueless Bravo people and Kate / Faithful winning: Shereé, MJ, and CT would never vote Phaedra. She just needs to bring these dumbies to the final 4 and win. John, Kate, and Sandra are also close to Phaedra. So I predict Trishelle will be killed soon, Peter banished soon, Kevin could go either way, and maybe Sandra out in the next 2 rounds as well. This is just how I am reading the game at the moment, with Bravo dominating the end game.

After episode 8. The Peter pals is no more. Kevin thinks Peter is a traitor meanwhile Trishelle and Peter are the only ones targeting Phaedra in which will probably cost one of them next week. John is the wild card but he and Trishelle seem to be the only 2 interested in saving Peter at this point. The faithfuls and I’m talking about Sheree, MJ, Sandra, C.T and maybe Kevin or John could win if you sacrifice the faithfuls because Trishelle and Peter seem to want to get the traitors out and not hold out until the end for the faithfuls in which will bite one of them next week. Mark my words.

I hope they don’t replace Alan with Dr. Will. The show would never be the same.

I agree with Pooya regarding Sandra. I think she really had two separate points/observations between the pool table scene and her social media post. *Point 1: Even if the faithfuls are great at banishing traitors, there are still 5-7 innocent faithfuls that are going to be banished.* Therefore, you can't allow a strong alliance to gain a majority or else you'll be one of those banished innocent faithfuls. Since Bergie had been murdered, banishing a non-Pete-Pal doesn't swing the pendulum back in their favor. It's still 6-4. *Point 2: It's wise to hang onto a known traitor and not banish them, since the game by definition needs a traitor to make it to the finale.* Trishelle's evidence was strong. The fact that both traitors have now written down Phaedra on their way out is a major piece of evidence. Sandra must also be noticing Phaedra's non-reactions, lack of worry, and lack of game-talk. If she now knows Phaedra is also a traitor, it's much better to have her be the one you take along compared to Parvati. She has a bad personal relationship with Parv, but a good one with Phaedra. Plus Parvati is an experienced game player and probably the only one who really knows how good Sandra can be. Another reason to keep Phaedra as your 'goat traitor' as opposed to Parv. Not to mention, she was in a bind either way. The choices were Parv and Phaedra. So unless she went completely off the board and voted for someone else, she was going to be banishing a non-Pete-Pal Traitor regardless.

At least Pavarti left with grace and didn't try to eat Phaedra. She had to vote for her of course, but she had class! And integrity. Sorry Dan ruined your game Parv. Not the best game but def a new fan of hers

Parvati played a very horrible traitor game on about every metric: Murder decisions, social game, strategy, cues she gave off, etc. 1. She was automatically on the outs with Dan & failed to integrate with the rest of the group. Seems this has been a recurring theme in her survivor's too. But this is worse in a game like this because she could be picking up information, reads, cues on who is onto them, who the threats are 2. Once the heat was on Dan, she should've known he was an incompetent player & cut him, this would've bought her a lot of credit from some of the dumb dumbs and logical players. But judging by her past survivor seems she might not be capable of that because she needs some mastermind like a Cirie, or Russell to carry her. Unfortunately for her Dan completely sucked in the game. 3. The murder choices were all dumb. Reminder this is not survivor where you have to make a big move to take your enemy out, you just need to wave a wand and they're dead. Getting the right people out can change the dynamics completely. 4. Falling for the Bergie trap was one of the dumbest thing I'vs seen. Even worse than the JT move to give an idol to Russell in her survivor season because JT was actually rolling the dice, logically it had merit, his back was against the wall in the heroes & the idol can be a curse. But here Petes yes man was just a dumb move to go with, you go with anyone else or even Peter, it would've absolved them. The aftermath was also bad, she was read by Peter as the culprit. 5. Hiring Peter, again I think it's a recurring theme that parvati cannot play without another strong mastermind in her team. The worst part is it was an emotional decision, she should've known Pete's character. The best move was just to cut the head of the snake. 6. She should've pitched to Phaedra that they need each other and play a numbers game since neither can survive final banishment. Not fighting for the torch put more suspicion on Parvati as we saw, she needed to convince Phaedra, so they're all shielded and only the Peter pals are up for murder, this would make Pete vulnerable and since there's no other options it would not absolve Pete pals of the murder. 7. Her final game move was to just survive & turn on Phaedra. Even if it works, she is never surviving final banishment, the only path she could've taken was to win it with traitors. Phaedra was probably not turning on the traitors and wanted to play together anyway. The only thing I'll say in her defense is starting with the twist to recruit was an oversight by production, since the recruiter, in this case Dan logically would've chose someone close to him like a Parvati, which did not help her since he sucked at the game and put her into a role she was not cutout for and made other players think she could be a traitor too. In next season I won't be surprised if production will just choose 3 traitors, since they interview each player and give the gig to those that want it and think they will do well. Imagine how different the game would've looked if they chose Trischelle or someone.

I don't think Trishelle can suspect that because there was no order to carry out a hit on her in the first place. Bergie only knew his shield saved him because I think he was still delivered the kill note. Regardless, Phaedra's definitely still in the hot seat merely because Dan spotlighted her and Trishelle knew that's what he meant by doing it.

@@Bree5three Bergie got the kill note because he had no shield and was one of the 4 that could be killed out of Kate, Trishelle, MJ, and himself. That kill was from episode 7. Trishelle suspecting Phaedra went all through episode 8 where she got the shield in the cabin challenge. Knowing Trishelle she will be clueless to the fact that Kate was recruited and no murder was made and she herself thinks Phaedra would target her because she targeted Phaedra. No one knows Trishelle had the shield but C.T.

Remember he triumphantly came to breakfast saying Pete's plan worked because they tried to kill him last night but didn't know he had the shield. Is it not because they sent out a kill note? Genuinely asking. Must be though because he seemed pretty certain upon his arrival and there was one morning they all came in and no one knew why everyone survived. Alan later addressed that was because someone was poisoned and would die during the funeral challenge later that day.

@@Bree5threeI see what you are implying but We are learning the rules being that this is the second season and no one knows that it can only be 5 traitors through out the entire show. Peter denied being the 4th traitor after dans banishment. The 5th traitor would be join or die but the faithfuls are not aware of this. Trishelle would automatically assume she was targeted because no one would be sent home in episode 9. It’s the little details we have to look at. Trishelle would feel the remaining traitor targeted her because no murder was committed. In the next episode Trishelles shield will be a big topic in the next ept

Dan completely ruined the show and season. The cardinal rule of being a traitor is not exposing the identify of the other traitors!!!!!
