4501's whistle sure is loud lol. It's loud even with hearing protection on! Lol

4:43 the whistle once was on an older Trainz simulator model of the Crescent limited 4-6-2 #1401 realistically it had a swinging Bell and a moving whistle valve as well as optional marker light changing options but it has not been on Trainz in a long time Here's a video of the Tranz version of 1401 kzread.info/dash/bejne/ZJWdp5lqedTYqaQ.html

No problem! The whistle i used was my first one ever made, my Southern 630 IC 3 Chime whistle. The loop is terrible lol

If you see different locomotives there from the Southern Steam Program and Other engine are just used for the whistles that why different engines aren’t southern

Arkansas Locomotive Works, I’ve Watch And then there was one and 4501 uses A Central Of Georgia Tender and 4501 got a New Stoker I think during the 2015 Restoration

If she didn't suffer a cracked Firebox Southern Railway #2716 would have been equally a great performer for the southern steam program versus ex T & P #610 being just as powerful but not fast enough or ex Canadian Pacific #2839 being just as fast but too small to pull the long trains for the program

2716 never had a cracked firebox. That was just an excuse to stop running the engine because of financial problems
