The Semmeringbahn which starts at Gloggnitz and leads over the Semmering to Mürzzuschlag, was the first mountain railway in Europe built with a standard gauge and was constructed between 1848 and 1854 The construction features 14 tunnels, 16 viaducts and over 100 stone arch bridges and 11 small iron bridges.
The video was filmed on the 14th and 15th of August 2023.

I can't believe this. Posted 4 months ago and only 32 likes after 4 months ??? Seriously ??? This is a beautifully done railway tunnels, bridges and viaducts video all of which is not just industrial infrastructure, but rather done and constructed as a pievce of artwork. Come on folks, like and share it.

Soon, very few trains will drive this track due to a way faster tunnel beeing build which cuts the drive time by like 30 minutes
