Nice variety captured especially during the diverts occuring. Find it strange with the class 465/466 some of them having the Hitcahi motors fitted to them rather than the original motors in them. Anyway, hope you will take care and stay safe :-)

Many thanks Ricky! I believe the motors are more noticeable in the Victoria video but you are correct and there are even cases in this video where both appear in the same formation! The Hitachi motors replaced the Brush motors which were incredibly unreliable. Make sure you stay safe as well :D

Meanwhile the Alstom motors didn't need replacing, but now some 465/2s and 466s are being replaced by 707s. SOME.

Sometimes trains that would normally run more regional services are put onto Metro style services. Or they have been cascaded from other kinds of services to be for metro style running. It's normally declassified

Hi Ted! I’ve wanted to film at some of those stations for some time now. I completely forgot there was resignalling works on the day I went so New Cross and Lewisham were quieter than normal. I’ll see if I can get another visit soon. I’ve also wanted to go to Dartford and the C2C lines.

@@StarlifeStudios Nice to hear, also I heard that Class 701s will be replacing class 707,455, 456 and 458s and class 707s are due to cascade to Southeastern in this year. But, I think it won't happen since Boris Eggson is launching a 2nd lockdown.

I’ve only been in local tier 3 lockdown for 3 days and I’m already losing the plot. Great vid!

Thanks Arnold, this is one of the best locations for spotting during diversions, it was almost none stop! That 377 caught me off guard. I honestly had no idea that two Ex-Southern units had joined Southeastern!

@@StarlifeStudios if because the 377/5s come from Govia Thameslink and 377163 and 377164 come from southern and join the southeastern Electrostars between Canterbury West and Ashford International.

Interesting! I did see 377164 from a distance at Victoria but at the time I just thought it was a southern 377. I can’t wait to go back to Kent and do some filming, it would be even better if I can get some High Speed 1.

Yes, I believe this is actually a common diversion for southeastern trains and can occur during normal service if delays or short notice closures affect trains. Thanks for watching as always Nathan, I'm glad your still around :D

The 2 Class 465/9s and Class 466s was actually working the Tunbridge Wells to Charing Cross service because the Sevenoaks services is normally worked by Class 465/0s, Class 465/1s, Class 465/2s and Class 466s

Hi Lewis, those 465/9s were definitely operating Sevenoaks services as the timetable excluded all Tunbridge Wells services on this day except in peaks (I was at Sevenoaks and Victoria later that day). On a normal day, you would be right though!

Lewis, I think you may be correct on normal timetable days, the video I have at London Victoria shows 465/0s and 465/1s arriving from Sevenoaks. However, despite being on this route for over three hours on this day, I didn't see one service which terminated at Tunbridge Wells. Thanks for your comment by the way :)

So what was On Diversion? The Charing Cross Services?

Just an error in the description, you didn't mention the 375/3s of which one was seen. The /3s are the 3 car units, but many were converted to 377/3s.

Hi Fatima, I usually note down all the information I can catch from the video immediately after videoing and then use railway sources to get the remaining information. Hope this helps 😃

Thanks Daniel, I’m mixed about it. I think it was going to happen again eventually it was just a question of when. I’ve currently got a good backlog of videos (about 8) which should keep things on this channel going nicely although I may have to revert back to a video very two weeks if things don’t improve and even more so if timetables are reduced again.
