Early evening at Maidenhead station on a cold January night on Monday 28th 2018. Now its not really been very long since I was last at Maidenhead, less than 6 months. But a lot has changed. 387 Electrostars now all over the place and a lot of 800's around too. This video is probably a good 50:50 Electric to Diesel. A lot has changed.
INCLUDES: Great Western HST's, Class 800 IET's, 387 Electrostars and a few Turbos.
So lots of Electrics in this video 800's & 387's all over the place. The GWR is changing fast. Makes for quite an interesting mix though as you have no idea whats coming round the corner really.

There are clips of an HST working in the West Country, somewhere near Plymouth, with four coaches in it.

8:22 Can anyone say if this class 387 unit is operating at 110 mph? They have a top service speed of 110 mph but I'm not sure weather there is any route where actually operate above 100 mph. So, is this perhaps one example?
Like how at 3:18 the driver of hst is busy talking instead of watching while he is driving 😂

Soon crossrail will be departing and arriving from there...Question tho...will crossrail have special fares for going out of zone? Does anyone have any ideas?

What working was the 12 car 387 on at 1:15?
At 8:22, is the 387 working a Paddington - Reading - Didcot Parkway service? Rare to see a 387 not stopping at Maidenhead.

Leo Martin I think the Virgin Azuma are also purchasing class 800’s- I assume they won’t tilt either.

Zak Johns 387s cover Pad - Readings and also Pad - Didcots. 166s passing here towards Reading would be heading to Oxford and either terminating there or going down the Cotswolds to Worcester.
