Excellent quality video, really clear and steady. I watched this on a TV without any perceptible degradation. I almost felt as though I was really there!

Interesting film which clearly shows the rising gradient approach to the platforms. My father pointed this out over 60 years ago to me, saying it was a Brunel design feature as his locos brakes were very poor and it helped departing trains.

Aren't a few being kept for Devon/Cornwall trains? Or did they decide the 80Xs could do those as well?

Never tried that before, but it looks really good!

I know there is a lot of 'opinion' about the 800's, but they sure do go like stink when accelerating under electric power!
