maccajoe he’s not nearly as heavy as he was, in his haydays he used to get to 280 pounds as far as i know, he weighted against hutchings like 262 ? 265 if my memory serves me right, he still has some considerable amount of muscle to put on to get back into that shape , i don’t know if he wants that though , he’s been peaking at 260 for about a year , last year he came into the jerry match about the same weight 262 to 265 , so maybe that’s where he wants to be at , he’s not getting younger so the crazy bulking days can’t be any easier , but it’s sad we’ll never get that 2008 monster devon back , but he has clearly evolved and moved on from that , as any arm wrestler should Ps but even in his prime he wasn’t ALWAYS that big , he certainly was at times at 240/250/260 pounds , so as i said , he’s changed and evolved , he’s a different type of arm wrestler , but he’s certainly not as strong as he was once ,

Exactly, they are just looking at the pin and the size of the man. Devon let him get in his groove with his shoulder committed and he was working on his defensive toproll. If they would have done a ready go, Devon would just deny his access to put that shoulder in. Wouldn't have been close, but what's the fun in that? Devon trains in the worst positions so that he is better everywhere not just a couple of angles.

Ur Looking stronger! My opinion is I think it would help u to focus on building the opposing muscles to armwresling movements, as in triceps, and hand extensor muscles. It would help bring support to joints, and u can only be as strong as ur weakest link, Google alpha grips. If u strengthen opposing muscles, then when ur pulling with ur bicep, u are pushing with ur triceps, and when ur gripping, u can flex ur extensor muscles, u can really lock ur arm out this way. Just like in physics "everything has an equal and opposite reaction" . I think u could reach a new level of strength and joint health by giving it a try👍

Devon you need to build up other groups of muscles, like trapezoidal, pectoral, back muscles even leg muscles, although they are not being used as much as arm-wrestling "specific" muscles, they still exhibit stress during the match and get tired, and when they do they secrete mediators that "tell" you body to power down, this is system-wide non-specific response.
