I was lucky enough to have 2 sessions with him when I was living in Thailand. This was about 6 years ago before he was famous. I believe he was still fighting himself and only training part time. He swept and kicked and hit me so many times I felt like I had been in an actual bout by the time we were done. He's a really cool guy though. Looks like his English is improving as he didn't speak hardly any at all when I trained with him.

Funnily enough, I feel like the blur helps to keep track of some of the stance changes and other finer points, because it emphasises the movements more. Always useful watching good pad work. Wish we had more coaches here in the Philippines who were comfortable with more advanced training.

Hey Jeff! regarding shutter speed, to make sure it doesn't happen again, always check to see if the shutter speed is above 1/50 before shooting, most likely what happened was one of the dials got bumped and brought it down to 1/25 or something. Hope that helps! :)

Hey Jeff, first of all i really love your videos and appreciate your effort of making these videos. I don't know if you are going to see this but in regards to your camera problem, your shutter speed of the camera should be double the frame per second you are recording. Meaning if you are recording in 25 fps the shutter speed should be 1/50 and if you are recording in 30 fps your shutter speed should be 1/60. Hope this helps and i would like to thank you again for your amazing contents that you put out for free 😊 it helped me big time in my muay thai journey wish you all the best 🎉

Hey Jeff, the problem with blurriness its because the shutterspeed was less than double your frame rate. The motion blur (this kind of halo that every movement has) depends on your shutterspeed. In video, we say that the optimal shutterspeed it's your frame rate x2. For example, if you are shooting at 25 fps, your optimal shutterspeed would be 1/50, or if you shoot at 60fps it would be 1/120 and so on. So in this case your shutterspeed was too slow and thats the reason that you have this blurry footage. I hope that this comment helped you, love your content💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼
@MMAShredded

I appreciate your help man! I have since changed the settings to 1/500. I am super confused though because I never changed my settings prior to this.. unless I accidentally changed the shutter speed without even knowing!
@mateohalac3232
Жыл бұрын
@@MMAShredded Maybe you changed the camera mode from the dial of the top of the camera. 1/500 its still to fast of a shutterspeed. If you want to expose the image without changing the shutterspeed i would recomend you to buy an nd filter, you can darker the image wothout changing your settings. It is like an extra glass that you put in your lenses that gets darker. Anyway, you shure know how to do it and your videos have been looking great, but you can always improve. Like in combat sports itself💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼🤝🏼
