Remember back in the days when you had to do route marches around Pulau Tekong during your Basic Military Training? The best thing about route marches is our buddies and section mates walking alongside us... singing catchy army songs.
Training to be Soldiers was probably the first song you learnt in BMT.

I remember waking early, slipping out of the quiet house & taking the bus to CMPB to report for NS. The quiet journey on the bus regretting things i should have done. Army is only the start of your life, it doesn't define who u are, its what u take from it after & apply in your life that matters.

I did this chant after we visited Discovery Center with my platoon today, sergeant say I chant very good
The version we sang was a extended version. - Stand up, Yah! And Be on your Guard! Come on everybody, Give your Soul and Heart, Do it for our Nation x3, Yah!

I miss NS It was one of the most fun part in my life. Dread it when I about to enlist,hate it when I enlist,love it when I about to ROD,miss it when it think of it. Make very good friends in it. Eat together,sleep together,shit together,suffer and enjoy together. Totally enjoy my time in NS In fact during my 10 years reservist, I enjoy even it more with all good buddies together. 10 years was never enough lolll

A little late but yes, the SAF No.4 digital camouflage pattern is a variant of the US MARPAT, which was directly based on the canadian CADPAT.
