Great video and very helpful to hear about a "beginners" experiences and findings! A thought about the rangefinder part. It might be very obvious but make sure you take a guess at what the range is before ranging the target! Bering able to accurately estimate distance is a useful and fun skill in general. If you are in a group it's always fun to see who had the best guess aswell! .

That is a great idea!! I have been trying to get more comfortable at guessing distances but this would be awesome so I can feel good at estimating distance and angles as well!

Honestly that was my first one and I had never had the courage to take a far shot. Now after going to one, while the thought of losing an arrow is still on my mind, I have a lot more confidence to take a shot at 85+ yards. You got this dude!!

Cool video your arrow had a weird look. Like the drop way arrow rest bounced up and hit the nock. I shoot 3D at my archery club Garden State archery. And i wear the boots i hunt wt .and i use my Mathews V3X 29. I can reach out to 118 yards. And i practice at 100 yards alot.

After I had shot the video and watching it back in slow motion, I realized the rest needed to be adjusted!! My bow is also super slow so I actually was only able to get the last sight tape that came with the bow to work for my set up

@@DylanJustesen1you have a nice set up. I just saw the arrow on the 78 yard shot. And I was like that is not flying wright. I am glad you got it fixed

Yeah me too. It took a little while but I am glad I got some help from my local shops to take a look at it.
