It's kinda mixed feelings for him to leave. We are happy that he managed to learn from u alot and opened up his own shop . In other view, its really hard to find someone who's willing to learn so hard and do a great job nowadays. Anyway all good to you Gunman, u been a good teacher for him and for us all. Thank you

To be honest I think it’s a bit rude to just go like that he could’ve stayed a bit longer and showed his worth and show you that he’s grateful that you were a great teacher for him nope he just packs up and p. Off Some mothers do have em

30 years ago I was doing bodywork the painter at the time just up and quit for some reason,my boss said well it's time you learn to paint he gave two of his gun's they were Binks#7 I never had an apprentice i was told to read the cans that was my mixture and well get to it,The first car I painted was 69 vw bug white was the code, needless to say I think when you are let loose and you get thrown to the wolves is the best way honestly telling a guy to do it this way may not work for him with that said you either have a nack for this or you don't.You can only imagine how a VW Bug has rounded curve's and i got zero runs and this is the gods honest truth the man took it too a local car show and got 2nt in it's glass. He actually came back to the shop and gave me that trophy he said I deserved it---I still have it to this day.To be honest nothing's really changed but the lines of brands and obviously water well I painted every line in my 30 years been to all the schools and all the I-car classes sure they helped with learning how each product worked but honestly it's the same procedure with all that said set the kid out to the wolves he will either have it or he won't this trade is a skilled one so if your learning another painter's way how are you gonna paint your way.

Thats nice of you to pass on all that "tribal knowledge." A lot of experienced stingy painters should take heed. I love that tekna prolite man. In the aerospace industry i used the gravity and the pressure fed Tekna. Te20 1.3 on thinner topcoat and primers, and hv30 1.3 on thick topcats! Great workhorse!!

You should get a Gorilla Ladders GLWP-55A-2 platform for the spray booth and for home. It's 140cm long, height adjustable up to 76cm and folds flat. I use one for painting car roofs and large bonnets, works awesome! Another cool video Gunny 👍
