21:48 She was supposed to sing this song to her father at school, but she failed every time because her father was not there in terms of moral support, and for the first time she managed to sing it (((
I never cried at a zombie movie before. This one made me cry several times. The last scene where the father is remembering the birth of his daughter broke my heart. The little girl that played Su-An was exceptional. She deserves an award.

Sadly she only got one nomination for this role, at the BloodGuts UK Horror Award Best International Actress and she did not win.
This is without a doubt, one of if not THE best zombie flick ever. Intense, gut-wrenching, everything. I forget his name but the death of that one badass dude actually got to me. The little girl's acting when her dad had to leave them behind after being bitten.... Just fantastic.

Such a great movie. And this not because of zombies running around and biting people, but because it´s dramatic and emotional impact. It´s much more a reflection and critique on society (like that suit guy representing all the egoism and selfishness nowadays), then "just" a horror movie. And it works so well.
I hope somebody (such as me) also appreciated the heroism of the Homeless guy not just once, but twice. First, when he covered a cloth to the zombie's head who's attacking Gong Yoo's character, second when he sacrificed his life for the pregnant woman and the little girl. :(( One of my favorite characters in this masterpiece. They all deserve an Award for this ❤️
The first time I watched this movie I went to visit a friend by train the next day. My logical brain knew nothing bad was going to happen, but I was still a bit tense all through the journey :-)

… and eats it. The "our daughter's name" part, I completely lost it. Thank God I was watching the movie at two in the morning so there was no one around to see me break down.
The young man didn't leave the girl after she was bitten not because he thought all the other people were dead and he was alone, but because SHE was now about to die and he loves her and is heartbroken that he never told her and they couldn't be together, he no longer saw a reason to live and would rather die right there next to her than bother to continue fighting to possibly die anyway. Kind of like a Romeo & Juliet kind of situation. This movie made me cry so many times. When the hero guy dies, the sister dies, the homeless guy sacrifices himself, and especially when the father is bitten, and the final scene when they say "Kill them. Over." and almost do until she starts singing, just gives me chills every time. Also I don't know where you were watching it as your translations were a bit off in some parts, like when you said you called him an idiot and then the subtitles said so too, in most translations he actually said "Hurry asshole, run!" Lmao.
The ending to the movie Is very sad, as KZreadrs whom reacted to the film said to the little girl, "No baby, it's not your fault! Your daddy is doing the right thing."
Welcome to the greatest zombie movie I've ever watched in my entire life of Living ! This movie breaks everyone makes everyone cry no matter how tough you are! This is showing you what humanity is really like in tough situations in the survival of the fittest some of the dumb decisions people make
Duaffy is without a doubt one of the most adorable reactors on KZread.
This is not a horror movie, this is a tear jerking drama..
The Greatest zombie Movie ever. we streamed it and 3 of my 4 boys (Myself included0 cried a few times. A Masterpiece Just done so right. That scene when the train goes through the train station slowly without stopping. The terror to get out, then realization things are much worse outside
As touching as this movie is even with subsequent viewings, there is a whole new layer of emotion to be found in hearing your thoughts on its characters and themes summed up so beautifully. You are the one this world doesn't deserve Duaffy, but is all the better for having. : )
Possibly the best zombie movie I’ve ever seen, and that little girl is incredible. So powerful and emotional at the end!
16:05 - You have to remember that it's in slow motion and actually happening super fast. In-gil shook her head, because she knew there wasn't enough time for her to get through and get the door shut in time, or the same thing would happen as with the previous door and someone else would die. That's also why Jong-gil was so bitter about how the others treated the group that brought her sister so far. She was like "you sacrificed yourself for them, and this is how they thank you?"
This has to be the most heartfelt zombie film ever made like an emotional K-Drama mixed with 28 days later
If this movie dosent rip your heart out you have no soul.

Two reactors had a nonstop-gossp-Valley-Girl session and had a blase reaction to the final minutes of "Train To Busan." (No Seoul, of course.)
I don't think anyone can come away from this movie without being a little bit in love with Ma Dong-Seok.
me "sorry hun i cant paint the ceiling now , duaffy has a new video out" her " oh good " !
By far my favorite zombie I love how invested we get with certain characters. If you enjoyed this movie you react to World War Z and The Walking Dead to really good zombie movie/show
I recommend 2019's "The Gangster, The Cop, The Devil" starring Ma Dong Seok (the husband of the pregnant woman in "Train To Busan). It's about mob leader who survives an attack by a serial killer, and his determination to get the killer leads him to join forces with the police detective investigating the case. While pooling their resources for the purpose of catching the killer, they never forget that they are on opposite sides of the law and manipulate each other to further their diverging agendas as a gangster and as a cop. In the mean time, the killer takes advantage of the inherently adversarial relation between cops and gangsters and rival gangsters to foil the combined attempts to get him. It's an entertaining movie with action, intrigue and suspense.

This movie represents all the characteristics in all human kind in a awful situation
If you wanted to react to a series again like you did with the mandalorian seasons, I'd really recommend giving kingdom on netflix a go, absolutely fantastic to watch

This movie is an absolute beast,by far, hands down the best zombie movie I ever watched, and I am a horror freak and have seen them all,I cried my eyes out,a zombie movie that makes u cry, imagine that
It's ok, honey. It's perfectly ok to ugly-cry to Train To Busan
If you want a calm touching drama, I recommend My Mister and Stranger. this drama have a lot of fans in Korea. I'm sure a lot of people will appreciate your reaction. If you want to watch a movie instead of a long drama, I recommend Hello August, Along with the gods and The Roundup
Korean movies don't give you a true and perfect hero. They often show the true psychology of people in the real world! It was very meaningful.
About the time "Parasite" was in the theaters, KZread recommended "Train To Busan." What? The Deer got back up!? I was hooked and on a roller coaster ride through Fear, Dread, Anger and Sorrow that left me drained. Kudos the the writer, director, actors, as especially the stunt players for creating a modern classic. I HATE Zombie movies, but I keep getting on the "Train To Busan" whenever a naive viewer posts a video. Each viewer's experience is (somewhat) different, though two "Valley Girls" talked nonstop through the movie. (They failed the empathy test with their blase attitudes.)
In an apocalypse. It's survival carrying a burden or dead weight will slow you down or get you killed. Being around people who help and those who pull their weight together will survive.
What a movie it was . I never really cried at a zombie movie in like ever . At first i was kind of reluctant to watch it back in 2017 but then i watched and oh my god , i loved every bit of it . Father daughter relationship , sacrifice , greed everything is just beautifully written and cinematised
Awesome reaction🥰

The father actually sacrificed. He offered his hand. Character development masterclass

You’re the first reactor I’ve seen actually give a good reason to why the baseball guy just decided to stay with her instead of leave because he prob thought he was the only one left and just decided to go 😔

Wow.. True Tears
The best zombie movie ever.
All these movies tend to ignore the obvious solution in favor of drama. You have a train car full of zombies, trapped, so disconnect the car from the rest of the train and leave it for the military to take care of. They weren't getting off the car, so just incinerate it. Problem solved.
10:33 got me dying XD That's what everyone was thinking LOL

You should try and react to Squid Game if you haven't already seen it! The main actor in Train to Busan, the dad (who is played by Gong Yoo) has a cameo role in it! But if you do see it make sure you see it in the original language it was intended to be seen in, which is Korean. Because the Korean version is the best and gives you the ultimate experience. And there are two versions of english subtitles, one is shitty and the other one is great. The one that has the subtitles slightly larger is the better one.
내가 살면서 봐온 리액터중에서 이분이 젤 미인이다 ❤
1:54 hey! he's in squid games. he's also a meme now. lol
the teen boy stoped running when the girl died, because he was in love with her... and she was also in love with him, so since she died, he lost the woman he loved and didnt see much reason to go on. any man who have realy loved a woman kinda knows this feeling... we cant live wighout you gals...
Your voice is like, Sugar to the birds, Soft and sweet, As the lowland Breeze,
This is an excellent movie, but Return of the Living Dead (1985) is still the best zombie movie of all time.

I was done with zombie films, I didn't think they had anything more to say. Then Train To Busan came along. I won't say it's especially innovative or anything, but the concept of a zombie film in a bottle is very well explored, and the zombie performers are simply top-notch! I read that they hired all dancers to play the zombies, which took it to the next level with their movements. The only weak point of the film for me was the attempt to provide a backstory that directly impacted the main cast, it wasn't necessary and just kind of distracted a little. Also the pig-headed boss type man was just a bit too pig-headed and selfish for my tastes, he almost came across as a caricature that would have been better suited to a comedy film. A couple of other really interesting zombie films: -Maggie (2015) starring Arnold Schwarzeneggar and Abigail Breslin, it's a slow burner but quite emotional. -Dellamorte Dellamore (1994) stars Rupert Everett. It's Italian-made but in English, might be titled "Cemetery Man". Odd, artistic, a little surreal in places, but always very funny. For my money, Dellamorte Dellamore is the best zombie film ever, but it's not your usual zombie film at all!
@Putrefax

He was meant to be a caricature, he's literally a representation of what our protagonist (the dad) would have turned into if he kept on his previous path of being selfish. Their battle on the side of the train at the end is not just man fighting zombie man, it represents him overcoming his selfishness that being a fund manager has ingrained into him in order to reconnect with his child.

I don't know much about regular foreign movies but horror foreign movies have a different "feel" to them but still keep the horror in the genre. You might want to check ( Close to home? ) the German movie Good Night Mommy. And to keep the South Korean theme going, I Saw the Devil.
