The girl in movie was a daughter between the goblin and his bride👰. Gong-you is undying goblin who being is god. Ma-dongseok of actor was casted by Korean-hero in Eternals. So he is never died. It's top secret which they are still alive actors in Korea. It's joke~😝. Thanks a lot from the zombie city of Busan. Stay well😛

The guy with the pregnant wife, who was such a badass hero until the bitter end (ma dong-seok, AKA Don Lee in the US) was so popular after this movie that Hollywood came calling and he was cast as the hero, Gilgamesh, in the upcoming film, The Eternals. The remake of Dawn of the Dead from 2004, is my all time favorite zombie film. Train to Busan is a close second though. Just a brilliant film in general. Perhaps it is the best zombie film ever. Shaun of the Dead, Day of the Dead, and World War Z, rounds out the top 5. DeadSet, the tv mini series, is also a favorite of mine. Then again, so are 28 Days and Weeks Later. It is so many to choose from really. However those ones, are all great. Do you agree?
Korean movies and series focus always more on human nature, feelings, even if its a horror or an action series they will make sure they make the characters relatable and human and feel for them

31:47 - I think the prevailing theory on how fast the bitten turn into zombies in this film is the closer to the heart, the faster they turn. Like the first girl was bitten in the leg, and tried to tie off her leg to stop the spread, and it took her a while, but she bit her first victim in the neck who turned almost immediately. Ma Dong Seuk's character (the bad-ass husband of the pregnant lady) is bitten in the arm, so it takes a bit for him to turn.
@GK-yi4xv
2 жыл бұрын
Similar to rabies (and why it's better to fend off a rabid dog with your foot than your hands. Also why children are especially vulnerable). The turning speed is unrealistic, but the movie wouldn't work if we had to wait hours for every bitten person to turn. 28 Days Later does the same thing.

I think it's moreso that the closer the infection is to the brain, the faster they turn, not necessarily the heart. I say that because right before someone fully turns, the eyes change to the pale blue, and then the infection takes hold. Notice how Sang-hwa's eyes changed as he held the zombies back, then shook it off until it overpowered him. He was fighting the infection in his brain.
Man, this is the first movie I've cried at for years. Never thought a zombie movie would move me like this.
I hope not only me appreciated the heroism of the Homeless guy not just once, but twice. First, when he covered a cloth to the zombie's head who's attacking Gong Yoo's character, second when he sacrificed his life for the pregnant woman and the little girl. :(( One of my favorite characters in this masterpiece. (Fave together with the big guy who is the MVP, the teenagers, the main character father & daughter, the professional conductor :(, the pregnant woman, and the old woman who opened the door for those selfish ppl to become a meal lol, and her sister. All of the main I mean XDDD)

Most of my favourite viewing experiences in the last few years have been from Korean TV and movies. They really are becoming a powerhouse in the entertainment and arts industry and I'm loving it
I have seen this movie an unbelievable amount of times. I watch reactions every time they show up in my recommended, because I love seeing people experience all the emotions for the first time. I would say I've seen this movie... about a dozen times in full, and another few dozen times watching reactions. I'm somehow still not bored of it?? Don't know how
I love how in the beginning, the bastard told Su-an in the train if she didnt study(smth like that), she'll end up like the homeless man(ard 6:00) In the end, it ended up that the most "educated" man became the most heartless n the "uneducated" man became the saviour. It just went the opposite way n a very gd lesson. This was the BEST reaction frm u ladies! Especially Ms Ellie's rage n all the words that came out😂

Yes, a perfect commentary on humanity. It doesn't matter where you come from. Just be human!
A KZread recommendation took me to "Train To Busan." I HATE Zombiue movies, but I was hooked when the Deer got back up. The roller coaster through Fear, Dread, Anger and Sorrow left me emotionally drained ...which I take again with naive reactors. Kudos to the writer, director, actors, and especially the stunt performers for creating a modern classic.
The man who plays the pregnant woman husband is the upcoming Marvel Eternals Gilgamesh.
Oh I remember the first Korean film I've ever watched, Shiri (1999). I have loved their movies and Tv series since then. Whatever genre it is they always incorporate tear jerking drama. When it comes to that aspect of provoking emotions, they just nail it every single time. 20 years later, their cinema and stories still make me ugly cry and now a Korean book I'm reading is adding to that (Please look after Mom by Shin Kyung Sook).😭
Best zombie move ever! Gong Yoo as the Dad is HOT, the little girl is an amazing actress and makes everyone cry and hero guy Don Lee is in the movie the Eternals. Great cast and fantastic direction, editing, make up, effects....and yes story. FYI, I am teaching myself to speak Korean and your 'Annyeong' at the beginning made me smile.

Brilliant reaction, girls! I don't think I've seen Ellie quite so passionate or so vocal over a movie -at least since watching Schindler's List. But this one was really a scream and a tear-jerker for all the Homies!
Have you noticed how many similarities this has with I am legend 1-Story about Father and daughter separated from wife/mother=Man separated from wife and daughter 2-Sang Hwa and Seok Woo's sacrifices for their loved ones = Dr Neville's sacrifice for Ethan and Anna 3-Yong Guk holding Jin Hee until their deaths=Dr Dr Neville holding Sam as she turns and then dies 4-Seok Woo looking back at the time his daughter was born=Dr Neville looking at the photo of his wife and daughter before sacrificing himself 5-Arriving at the safe zone in Busan=Arriving at Vermont the safe zone in the survival colonies
lol it’s nice to see that Squid Game has created curiosity for Korean movies/shows.
This movie perfectly shows a dad’s sacrifice his love and caring towards his child

I think the girl in the beginning kept saying she was sorry because she knowingly got into a train full of healthy people. I have a feeling she saw what was happening to people who were bit and she tried to stop it but couldn’t. 24:40 when i watch foreign youtubers’ movie reviews, nobody laughs in this scene. Actually, This scene is very funny scene for koreans. When the movie was released in 2016, korean audiences laughed a lot in this scene Because that ringtone was a cheering song for the 2002 World Cup. A big man set his ringtone to such an old song, we couldn’t help but laugh
I love how this movie portrays fatherhood. A thankless job, where you sacrifice everything, even your own health, but seeing your child grow and enjoy life makes it all worth it.

Them at the end, that’s me EVERY TIME I watch the movie 😭😭😭
The best praise I can give this Movie is that it is as close to my favorite Horror movies of All Time: Halloween (the Original); Friday the 13th 4: The Final Chapter; The Silence of the Lambs; Dawn of the Dead (the Original); Terrifier; Martyrs; Scream (Original); Saw 1; Evil Dead 1, 2, & 3 (Army of Darkness); and a few others... This Movie was very well acted, had an engaging and Original story (especially for a Zombie Movie.), and it was genuinely scary! I loved this one, and it is easily in my Top 10 all time favorite Horror Movies now. In addition, it will move you emotionally! If it doesn't, then you need to check if you are still human!!
Since you loved and liked “Train To Busan”, I would recommend watching another Korean zombie movie “Alive”. And there’s this Korean zombie series “Kingdom” as well.
I like the most how Vicky's crying to express every scene she watched... Girls, you're amazing audiences... Lol
The moment she sang that song at the end, I started crying a river again. That song was the song she sang earlier in the beginning and when the dad died, she sang it for him, which makes it more sad. 🤧😢😭😭😭
This reaction is like the definition of suspending reality and just immersing yourself into cinema . Great reaction.
Don´t get mad at me but this is the first time I see Ellie trully crying. I love Vicky´s voice by the way :)
Also please see Kingdom from Netflix. It's also Korean zombie's in the middle ages.
Actually the entire country of Korea was lost to the outbreak. However, its unknown whether this girl, her mom and the pregnant lady survived or not either living in the country or part of those evacuated out of the country. Should check the sequel called Peninsular released in 2020, but it talks about different characters.
First I like to say thank you for people’s of Korean who created absolutely a MASTERPIECE of zombies movie, Train to Buscan. Entire cast are brilliant especially that little girl father is a true Hero. I have a lot of respect for them especially the big guy who is amazing & brave. Everyone ones of them willing to sacrifice themselves to save others like WOW. Except one bloody bastard who is worthless. This movie is insane but also it gave me chicken skin.
I love when other nations truely experience KOREAN DRAMA….. they lose their shit emotionally lol
I cried together with u guys even though I've watched this movie more than 10 times HAHAHA 😭🤍
This is the best zombie movie. I’ve been watching, the main character was dead in the final moment of end movie. He sacrificed himself to protect his daughter no matter what happened. He rather die to, let his daughter is still alive. I cried so much in that moment. In the while, he almost to turning the zombie. He is remembers his memory in the past. He held his daughter on his arm. Oh gosh, it’s very touch to my heart. 😢😭

The best Zombie movie ever made! From acting to cinematography, to story. Absolutely the best! Your reactions were perfect!
Ma Dong-seok (Don Lee) is Korean-American and moved to the United States with his family at the age of 18 and has lived in Texas, California, and Los Angeles. In the United States, he coached weight training for UFC champs Mark Daniel Coleman and Kevin Christopher Randleman, and worked as a personal trainer in the past. And he starred in the Marvel movie "Eternals"
Love seeing bigger reaction channels reacting to this beautifully done movie.
50 minutes and I laughed and cried with you. I enjoyed it.
i hope THE HOMIES could react to "ITS OKAY TO NOT BE OKAY" NETFLIX KOREAN DRAMA💜 BEST HEALING DRAMA 💯 #ItsOkayToNotBeOkay nominee trailer release in the International Emmy Awards official site
drama by the same director is scheduled to air on Netflix on November 19th. 'Hellbound'
The girl who plays the young zombie who gets on the train is Shim Eun Kyung who is one of Korea most talented actresses. If you want a more funny Korean movie but with still a few tears her movie "Sunny" is worth watching.
Great reactions, n this a masterpiece movie.
The main character of this film works for an investment company. The investment company the protagonist works for provided funding to the company that created the zombie virus. Of course, they just did what their superiors told them to do. But that fact doesn't change.

An unexpected twist, but I wonder if it was necessary. It subtracted slightly from sympathy toward the father at the end. 'You shared responsibility for this disaster. Why should anyone care now, after all the people who have suffered because of you?' (It actually makes him a bigger villain in a way than the asshole 'Ajoshi').
okay but the real mvp here was the fetus baby lmao.. the mom was literally running for her life multiple times in the movie and the baby is somehow still holding on
Between the child actress Kim Sun-An also acted impressively too in the superb excellent korean action flick "The man from nowhere"....the first and the origin of John Wick " )
The last episode where the children sang in the tunnel because they thought of the father's question while driving. Asked in the car why he didn't sing the song until the end.
