That’s magnificent and shame that we will no longer see 2857 nor 1501 after they are no longer running on the seven valley railway

There’s no plans for the overhaul on that loco and it’s not coming back to steam just like 1501 that loco is also not coming back either

Unfortunately, she might just miss that. Hopefully she’ll be ready my then, but it’s uncertain yet
